She was going to reply, but felt another round of whimpers coming up her throat, and she went silent again for a few seconds. "'Night," she managed quietly, the tears coming from a fresh round of embarrassment.
She went on a run in the early morning and didn't return until about noon. She opened the door, her brow furrowed and her free hand rubbing the back of her neck.
She went up to his door and knocked lightly with her fingertips, looking at a crumpled up piece of paper in her free hand. She had a pencil tucked behind her ear.
She frowned before offering the paper to him. It was a very loosely drawn map, with corridors and pathways market. "I went into the warehouse this morning and got you a layout."
"I went in and got a map for you," she repeated, looking over her shoulder for a moment. "Well... I made a map. It's kinda sloppy."
She crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow. "So I did it anyways. I thought you'd be pleased. I got you the layout."
