He raised an eyebrow at her. "I think they're looking for you. Maybe you should go stay with your parents."
She shook her head. "No, it's... it's fine. It's not possible for me to stay in the city? I can leave; you don't have to deal with me."
"I suppose you could stay here if you wanted. I figured you wouldn't," he said easily, taking a water bottle.
"I don't..." She hesitated, looking uncomfortable. "I don't want to go to my parents, if at all possible. I could help you, though. I could clean, or... or cook. Or something. I don't know."
He nodded slowly, looking thoughtful as he sat on the couch. "Hm.. Alright." He raised his eyebrows at her. "You should know that what were going isn't legal. But to be fair, neither are they."
She raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms. "Do I seem like the type of person who is overly concerned with abiding by laws?"
"Uh.." he muttered, looking thoughtful. "I'm not sure.. I guess making food would be a start. I can go grocery shopping."
She folded her arms, leaning against the wall. "I can go out for groceries," she replied. "It's not hard."
