I'm trying to find an old post I had (yes, I looked through my "latest posts", but my post is too long for it to show up in the preview) but it only shows me the thread it's in, normally this wouldn't be a problem, but my post is in the GCT 2, there's no way I'm going to go through every page of that thread looking for my post. Why not have post searching link directly to the posts in the search results page?
Click Advanced Search make sure you tick Posts, or whatever specific criteria you need, and try again.
If you remember even just a few words from your post, use them all as keywords. It should narrow it down i think.
Nonono, that's exactly what I did, it narrowed it down, to the GCT 2, I only remember two words, but like I said before, it only shows the thread it is, not the post.
Oh, right. Posts checkbox only highlights every instance of the keywords you type in. If you know it's in GCT, go to that thread, and at the top of the posthead (look for the grey bar), you will find "Search Thread". Put your keywords into that and it will return exact posts in the results.
