Is it possible for the site to alert a poster if someone else has posted in the thread while they were creating a post themselves, to demonstrate, when I click "Post Reply" if anyone else has posted while I was creating my post, instead of immediately posting, it will take me to a different page that will say someone else has posted, show what has been posted (multiple posts if the case may be) and give me the opportunity to alter my post, or not post at all. I have seen more than one post refer to being "ninja'd" After 3 years I still don't see the difference between Site Discussion & Complaint Box, what function does it serve as a sub section that Site Discussion doesn't already provide besides clutter? please respond to this too, I'm not just trying to be funny. Old Admin to Admins, I still think all posts in Site Discussion should be locked once resolved, so it is clear cut for any moderators coming online at different times of the day as to whether an issue still needs an official response or be dealt with in some manner, be it further discussion or just to say no, any moderators not able to comply with this should be promptly dropped after warning, as they are just making everyone's job harder, like if I was a mod and I looked into this section to see what needed to be done, it'd be a nightmare to check all of these threads each time, since there's no indicator to say something has been resolved by another mod.
