Hi Everypony Sorry I have been gone so long so soon after saying I was going to be more active in the community. Unfortunatly my computer hard drive decided it was going to quit its long service to me well I was updating my Iphone iOS so I lost use of my phone and computer (using friends computer atm). Hopefully my computer will be back from being fixed by the end of the week and I will become active again however between work and not having a handy computer within 20min of travel time I won't be on until I do get my computer back. Hopefully I dident completly ruin my chances of becoming a DJ for the radio however after this week of inactivity I will have to become 20% more active to make up for it! On a side note going a ~week without internet or cellular phone has been interesting...and boring.... Well c ya all around and merry christmas to everpony!
Good to see ya L'Epic! Hmm.. Computer troubles, eh? Well, I hope your hardware issues clear up. Otherwise I will come to your house and breath on you while you sleep whilst I fix thine computer. I even know you're somewhere in the same country as me... Probably...
He has breathd his last breathe. But, yes. I suggest getting a Mac. Or a ton of heatsinks and fans to ensure your PC doesn't crash again. Or install some Linux distro.
I had this problem when I updated an Ipod. Don't trust Apple, they'll kill your computers! Well, good lucks fixing it up, "L'epic"
>installing linux magically fixing things. That's not how hardware works... All Linux can do is give you more control over how your OS works/breaks in this regard. Oh, and incompatibilities. It gets you those too. >Get a mac. Macs are MADE to be incompatible with non-Apple-licensed components, making them impossible, or at least much more expensive, to fix. Did I also mention incompatibilities with 50% of mainstream programs, and about 90% of the less known ones? Not to mention you don't OWN the mac. You sign an indefinite lease contract with Apple, which can then do all sorts of crazy stuff because of this. In general, if you want a good, yet stable computer, you want to build it yourself.
I suggested those two motions because 1. Macs are awesome and 2. Linux is awesome. Also, this is God's site for PC building -> http://www.overclockers.co.uk/
Mwahahaha I have started the which OS is better thread! Also got my phone back so I can browse the forums now! Btw I use a laptop and it's mainly for gaming so... Mac = expensive / pain in the flank Linex = I am not learning a new OS >.> Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
