She laughed as well, turning her hand to intertwine their fingers. She reached up, kissing his cheek.
She flushed at their proximity, but quickly relaxed. Placing her hand on his jaw she went quiet, her nose brushing his before she kissed him gently.
He kissed her back immediately, flushing as well as he cupped her neck gently. He deepened the kiss slowly, his fingers brushing her hair.
She pulled away after a long moment, her eyes fluttering slightly as she simply watched him with a surprised and adoring gaze.
He laughed breathlessly, resting his forehead against hers. There was a small silence before he spoke. "I think I might be falling in love with you."
His gaze met hers and he hesitated, brushing her hair back gently. "You don't need to feel it back," he replied quietly. "I know that's a lot. I just... I need you to know that I'm in this, I guess."
His hand came up to cup her jaw as he kissed her back. As she watched, magyck began to make his wings glow, lighting them up with a shimmering blue.
"Did they?" he asked, looking over at them and flapping them gently. "Gods. These things are so confusing."
