Barry's eyes narrowed, but he kept his ''I'm all cool'' attitude. He swallowed nervously, and leant forward a little. ''Okay guys, i know i've actually proposed this, but i don't really enjoy the idea of being the bait. I'm not as strong as you all, and will most likely get killed in this operation, if we can't gather enough information on their numbers, strategy, movements and methods, I'll pass. You guys should've noticed how i fight, thus how i can use my powers. If i can't have enough time to focus and charge my blows, my sword isn't half as sharp as paper. I'd like to have a solid plan if we're going to do this. I'll need you all to have a good position, and i'd prefer if we could drag them to the plains on the outskirts of the city: they're wide, and we won't kill any citizens by crossfire.'' Barry thought for a second, then exclamed, ''That's it! I'll serve as the bait, drag them to the plains, and we'll ambush them. But we'll need to find a way to stay in constant contact, without them hearing us.''
"If try to drag them out in to the plains, we could run the risk of them noticing something's up and calling off the attack. Maybe we can lead them into an alley or something but we can't lead them too far astray. As for you're fighting ability, just try to keep your head down and out of the fight if you can. You can jump in if you want but I'm sure Me, Necrox, and Ria can probably handle the 'hit-squad' they have on you." Stanford stepped next to the window, looking outside. "We can't spend too much time debating this though. We need to hurry quickly."
Barry sighed. ''I only meant that, if they sneak on me, i fear i won't be able to block their attack. If i manage such a magic trick, I won't have enough time to build up my strenght. I'll try to drag them on some roof. Now, we must get out there, and get a solid plan. I'd personnally want to know where you guys will be hiding, so if anything happens, i'll at least know how long i'll have to hold them up.''
Barry slowly turned his head towards Ria. ''You, stay out of this. A gentleman keeps a lady from danger. As long as i'm able to fight, i'll never let a woman do my job. I lost a friend this way, and i won't loose another one. I am not doubting in your abilities, but consider it sexism; i'm not letting ladies commit suicide-like actions when i can avoid it.''
Her eyes narrowed, and her hair whipped around angrily. "I am just as capable as you.. A gentleman does not talk down to his peers." she said in a soft, deadly voice. She lifted her closed fist, and opened it, looking in interest at the flame that had appeared there.
Necrox stretched his vine arms outward and placed a hand on each of their chests. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. I was actually planning on both of you being bait. Just... Chill, alright?"
Necrox sighed. "So, who goes with who? We'll need to decide, Stanford." he said. "I mean, Liliana can't stay, can she?" he asked, only to notice Liliana's dissappearance. "Right."
Barry looked at Necrox and sighed.''Let Ria decide who's the bait.'' He looked back at Ria. ''Just one thing: It happens that i won't forgive myself if there would be blood on my hands once more. I don't think i could live with my hands soaked with my tears anymore. I'm sorry if i offended you, but you haven't signed up for this. And it might be a personnal trauma, but i can't let a woman die, knowing i could've kept that from happening. Please accept my appologies.'' His eyes locking in the void that left Liliana, then on Necrox. ''I only hope she hasn't left on her own against them...''
