Well, I'm sorry to say, but I have to pull an indefinite disappearance act. You see, the troll winds have changed, and this place has shrunk below the critical mass. There are actually not enough people to make my permanent residence here worthwhile for anyone. It's been fun, but I have to thank you for the wonderful fish of random ****storms. Of course, some people may object to this message Some may rage at this. Trollface. Incidentally, you may be asking "Why is this thread in General Discussion? We have a farewell section!". The correct answer is because this a Yeti. Spoiler: explanation Now, of course, I will be leaving for some time, because otherwise I would never post this. The only difference from me pulling a regular yeti is that I actually am leaving indefinately, for the reasons above. This is a reverse yeti, and DOES belong in the farewell thread. This may be the last you see this wonderful face of mine.
Alright, goodbye :/ Geez, it's like 90% of the peeps on this forum went into hybernation from one moment to the other.
"It's time to let the troll go free. He belongs in the wild, where he'll be free to troll as he pleases." Bye Dan, hope to see you soon.....somewhere. Aw man, another long-timer gone.
NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! There, that's my meme contribution to your thread. Sorry to see you go Dan. We didn't chat much, but whenever I was lurking about and saw your posts and antics in the radio chat, they gave me a good laugh. I wish you luck in your future trolls.
this was in new threads so i wanted to see what houdini thread can have then i see people praising trolls arnt trolls bad?
Dan knew when to push the line and when to be serious. He trolled for the sake of humour, not to hurt someone, and most of the time hit the mark exactly where it needed to be hit to make it troll perfectly without causing any major disharmony in the forums. Does that explain it better?
Debatable... Technically even discussing whether he trolled or not is probably a discreet, backwards troll technique and he's sat there grinning wildly as even his farewell thread manages to troll people without them even realizing it. It's an art, one for which I personally think he had a talent, but I'll miss him regardless.
