Hm, I think this thread has come up before (someone might want to answer that for me)

Personally, I don't think a dedicated thread for such would be a good idea. It could easily lead to catastrophe when touching upon sensitive topics.
Recently, I have been making mini-rants on General Chat thread. I'd recommend doing so as well.
Plus, you'll probably get more help (if needed) from that thread

 

Dude, the Atkins diet is SO dead! Why are people still doing this after literally hundreds have died attempting to lose weight this way?! Just the other day some dude at work was like, "Derp, I'm not eating carbs, just red meat," Do people not listen to NPR anymore?! Boring news is the best news people! Just eat healthy and have a balanced diet with exercise. That is all you need do! Meat twice a week is probably the healthiest natural cycle but you need grains / rice or preferably a combo every day. Combining them will enhance your complex carbohydrates which are essential for survival.

And another thing: TAURINE! ITS IN YOUR ALREADY! ITS NOT BULL PISS!

I don't rant. I Ramble. I guess rambling can be more annoying though, especially if your going on at someone, and they just don't care. I'm sometimes bad at spotting that. I sometimes rant on at my friends about random crap, like Final Fantasy. I don't know why, no one in my school really plays it, apart from about three people, one who I think played twelve, about two odd people who played seven, and some earlier games. I feel so lonely on Dissidia...
Anyway, I do rant occasionally... But usually, I just mention something I'm annoyed at, with some points. In fact, it's not often I ramble really, unless it's break or something. I should ramble more often.

I guess steam annoys me. It not only makes popular games unavailable for those without a good connection to the internet, but it complicates a task which used to be as simple as pop a disc in. It's much less flexible a service... In fact, sometimes it just doesn't work! I'll be trying to install a game, and it just turns around and goes "Nah. Steams too busy for you." What's the point i a service that's not gonna service you!!?

The last time we had a thread like this, it had to be locked, if I recall correctly. (I think I could be wrong here.)

Anyways...
I hate authoritarian style parents. Mind you, mine aren't like that, but kids need to have a small bit of freedom in their lives instead of having EVERYTHING decided by their parents. That said, there needs to be a tiny bit of order within the family, so the Permissive Style doesn't help much. Democratic ftw.

 

I just saw the link and the song is stuck in my head.

Anyway, I generally don't like to vent frustration online, even though I probably do it all the time. But if I had to rant on something it would be on it has to be on Zubat in caves. They appear every single step that you take. You can never get away from them, and when you can't escape, they use Confuse Ray and you kill yourself. One of the things I hate about Pokemon.

If you live in the UK and care to look outside, you will find that there is a lot of sunshine...

I hate it! I wake up and its cool enough for me but the sun just cooks me from the inside out and makes me feel sick. But every day I'm like "hurr de duur I'm going to have a day full of sunshine and fun and its gonna be great" and then I get to class and I can't focus because I feel the need to just spill everything into the toilet bowl.

 

I hate how my school chooses the hottest day of the year to do sports day. We have to sit in the boiling sun with no shade for 2 hours straight in black uniform, which absorbs heat. Also, there is usually a water shortage that day and we are all extremely thirsty. I'm so glad I don't have to watch sports day this year. I love study leave.

 

Problem is, I have to take my coat in the mornings because it's pretty cold. And then I have to carry my coat around with me all day in school, which isn't exactly fun.

 

This is what I have to do as well. I just gave up on bringing in my coat to school. I'd rather carry nothing for 6 hours and feel cold for 10 minutes than bring in my coat.

I have this black shader error in TF2 and Gmod.I CANT GET RID OF IT!!NO matter what i do IT IS STILL THERE!!

Deleting the shaders cache and forcing it to rebuild tends to work in other games (just delete the shaders folder).
Not sure how tempermental gmod is though, you would have to look it up.

 

Gmod is fairly easy to modify.Where is the shaders cache?Is it in the steam folder or game files?

 

Game files I would imagine, but I stress that you google it in case it breaks gmod! I only know that it works for games that aren't gmod and I'm not sure how gmod will respond since I do not own it nor have I resolved this problem with gmod.

 

I cant find any info on it.

Do you have any steam games?The Directory is different than a normal game.(Cache file are sometimes located outside of game files.)

EDIT:I think i found them in Garry's mod content.I can Delete it and restore it easily.
