Charlie left the warmth of her home and shivered at the night air chills her bones. She wore a black cloak with the hood down and her saddle bag making it scrunch up as she walked. The sky was dark and it was only 12:00 in the afternoon but since Celestia had fallen, Nightmare Night ruled over Equestria keeping her evil promise. Charlie walked past Octavia's house and the sound of wubs filled Charlie's ears making her hum along. Charlie settled more into her cloak as she approached the main fountain where she was meeting the rest of her team.

 

Knight finishes sauntering up to where he was supposed to get his latest contract, & look around, & sees a well hidden small mare in a cloak.

 

Charlie took a seat on the nearest bench, she watched the very few ponies walking on the streets. The library at the very end he street sat alone in the total dark not a single light shun through a window. Charlie pulled the hood on shivering more and more as the cold air sinks in more.

 

"Hello, do you know where I can find, umm, I think it's, cherry."

 

Charlie pulled back her hood, then pointed to a half deserted market, "Just right over there, but I would hurry not alot left." She smiled and shivered again.

 

Knight frowned and said,"I mean somepony by the name cherry."

 

Charlie blushed and shied away a bit, "I-im terribly sorry, I haven't seen Cherry"

 

"Huh, I read I was supposed to meet her here, well I better search around the town.", then Knight heads off to the market stalls

 

"Ah, Charlie! That's the name I was lookin' for."

 

Knight chuckled,"never have I been hired by a child before."

 

Charlie perked up when she heard her name. "Yes that's me, I'm Charlie." She stood on the bench then jumped ground swiftly. She scanned the darkness forgetting she had left her necklace at home for reasons she didn't know. "And I'm not a child!" She snapped in Knights general area

 

"We'll Charlie I'm at your disposal, solong as you have bits to pay for my services"

 

Esy finished packing up, extinguished the fire, and went off to meet somepony named Charlie in Ponyville.
