Knight leaves the figure to help the others, then goes off to the point of not being able to hear him anymore
"you didn't fail me. How would you have failed me?" Charlie spoke softly. She stretched her now healed legs glad to see them white instead of black again. She shivered and felt like she couldn't get and closer to Dune. The cold desert laid before them, a huge crack in the earth the only evidence of the nightmare.
"I let them touch you. In my land. My desert. I am most powerful here. I didn't keep you safe." Dune replied.
"I'm not dead am I? And u were kinda preoccupied by the bigger one." Charlie nuzzled his cheek trying to make him feel better anyway she could.
"Ive kind of noticed but I dont care." she looked to the sky, "We should get some sleep." she yawned and huddled closer to him to stay warm.
He covered them with sand from his gourd. He knew that was safe. He made a makeshift pad to sleep on and pillows from sand. His gourd was empty."Don't let me leave without this tomorrow..." Dune yawned, snuggling against Charlie. "Y-you have a really soft coat..." Dune said before drifting off.
The rage in Dune began to quell slowly as he laid with Charlie. He smiled and winked at Esy, showing his engagement bracelet to him. He rolled back over. "I've got meaning." He whispered.
Dune, still worried for Charlie, woke up every half hour and did things like running a hoof through her mane or kissing her forehead. He lost a heck of a lot of sleep, but he knew it was worth it. He fell dead asleep for two hours.
Charlie jolted awake after a night full if nightmares. She looked around taking in her surrounding, just for a moment forgetting where she was. She found the sleeping Dune beside her and she nuzzled his cheek.
"Good morning, did u sleep ok?"Charlie stood and shook the sand out of her hair. She then pulled her saddle bag closer to the make shift stone table and took the third element out. "Laughter!" She said in a cheery voice. (I don't think we have enough for all 6 elements so if you would like just pm me another character idea and then you can play him/her)
