Do you prefer Bitmap, or Vector images?

Edit: (Just to clarify, the use I am referring to is drawing/your preference for drawing.)

That really depends on their intended use.

At work I sometimes cringe at the thought of raster images, working in print design means I could be making a DL flyer one moment and a pull up banner the next, vector graphics makes transferring the same design onto both so much easier. Thankfully it's not often I have to use them and when I do they're usually proper stock images but occasionally people don't always understand why I can't use a 100x100px image on their A2 poster.

At home for my own personal stuff however, I much prefer raster images, for no other reason than the way they look. They simply suit my art style better.

Don't they serve different purposes? I rarely see BMPs nowadays.

I use vectors when vectors are required- Otherwise, I usually use Bitmaps.
