The day that their salvation came was...strange to say the least. Then again, it's hard for a zombie infested town to not have a strange day, but this day was particularly strange... "RUN!!!" Shadow yelled at Cyanside in her mind, the white pegasus taking flight as she attempted to escape the zombie hoard. It was of little use though, the zombies that had once been unicorns began to fire slow, twisting bolts of magic at her as she took the sky. Though a single one of them was easy to dodge, the sheer number of zombies after her prevented her from staying airborne. "Couldn't you take over and burn them to death?" "Even if we still had my lighter, there's too damned many of them to fight" As she reached a T junction in the city she found the left hand side cut off by even more zombies approaching. Cyanside felt a tear slide down her face as a feeling of hopelessness began to set in. She galloped along the only road she had left to go and screamed. "Somepony...Anypony...HELP!!!"
Dark Light was running along rooftops, the safest way she could find to travel when she heard a cry from the streets below. Going to the edge of the building, she saw a mare running for her life in front of a massive hoard of zombies, "What she do, get every zombie in the city after her?!" She asked herself, before tensing up her muscles, and with a massive dash that surprised the zombies just enough to distract them for a little bit, she zoomed down, slamming full force into Cyanside, driving her through a store and through a wall before they tumbled to a stop against another wall. "Sorry, I'm Dark Light, Let's GO!" She yelled, pulling Cyanside to her hooves, adrenaline reducing her pain to nothing.
Cyanside raced behind Dark Light. "Well, I guess getting chased by a horde of zombies is as good a time as any for introductions. I'm Cyanside, pleased to meet you." The two of them raced through the streets for a bit, seeming to outdistance the undead by a considerable amount, until they came to a four way intersection in the streets, and there chances of escaping suddenly dwindled dramatically. They had somehow managed to get funnelled into a trap zombies approaching the duo from all directions. As Cyanside turned to go back the way they had came in hopes of finding an alleyway, she saw that what alleys they might have gone into were currently pouring out zombies to block their path. There was only one way to escape, and that was up. Cyanside flexed her wings in preparation for flight, but found the feathers crooked and unwieldy from the crash earlier. "Got any ideas then Dark Light?"
(I am going to guess this is where you bring the Tardis in sooo...) Dark looked around, "Come on, come on, there's always someway!" she muttered, but even the buildings were so boarded up that by the time they could pull enough down to get inside, they would be eaten. "Well, I guess I could try to carry you..." Dark said unconvincingly.
