Sarge calmly picked up the hat and put it back on his head, not using any of it to hide his face, "No point in hiding my face anymore if everypony here's already seen it at this point." (Good night.)
The raid was a complete success, they managed to make off with the entire herd, and some chickens. But instead of how most bandits use them, for their own purposes, Red either sold them or just let them roam. By now, it was all just fun and games. After dividing up the haul between selling and releasing, and doing so, they made their way to Theives landing for a drink or two. They came into town, ponies running to hide the moment they saw Red at the head of the fifty-strong gang posse, all toting at least two guns, and lots and lots of ammo and explosives. Red jokingly tipped his hat at a running pony as they got closer the saloon, "I love being feared." He said to himself.
Sarge quickly covered his face with his hat again as Red Glory's gang approached. "We gotta sneak our way outta here, lady," He quietly said to the mare in front of him, "He's had a major grudge against me ever since I, uh, killed a few of his lieutenants for their bounties."
As Red approached the saloon, he noticed a stallion trying to hide his face and get some mare to move away. "'Ey! What y'all doin'?" he called, "And no need to hide your face partne, all were 'ere for is a simple drink or two, we ain't gonna kill y'all!"
Red Glory shrugged, "Suit yourself, was gonna offe to pay a drink for you. But I guess you wish to go, I guess I shouldn stop ya." and with that, Red Glory went into the saloon, followed by the rest of his gang, who very quickly came back out after seeing the carnage. Red Glory came up from behind the stallion and flipped off his hat and got a good look at the wearer, "I knew it." he said with a small grimace, "Ya know, I should kill ya for what ya did to my men, but in all honesty right now, I'm more mad that you shot up the bar right before I was gonna get a drink. And I sure do like my whiskey." Red Glory said threateningly, "Tell ya what, I'm gonna let ya go this time, but next time ya decide to shot up a bar, make damned sure we ain't in the area."
Red Glory simply shook his head in disgust and walked away, heading off to the next town, hoping that their bar wasn't shot up as well.
She snickered as Red walked off. "Somepony has a stick stuck between their legs..." She turned to Sarge, picking her hat up off the ground and placing it on her head. "Sorry that I was distracted, I was..thinking."
"I hope you don't mind me asking, ma'am, but thinking about what?" Sarge said, putting his hat back on his head.
"Well..." She shifts uncomfortably, her coat sliding slightly to the left. "It's a more personal matter than this pony would like to share."
"I understand." Sarge said, adjusting his hat, then extended a hoof, "My name's Sargent, by the way."
"Nice to meet ya." Sarge said, "But I best be on my way before Red Glory wises up and decides to finally kill me."
The gang stood on a hill nearby the town, having buried dynamite at any point that could be used to exit from, Red Glory stood next to the detonator looking through binoculars along with a few others, "The moment y'all see that pony leave, give a holler and we'll blast this place, got it?" there was a collective agreement as they continued their search for any sign of Sargent leaving.
"Would you mind if I went with you? You stir up a bit of amusin' trouble." She smiled, expecting to be declined.
"Red, I see 'im, I see 'im, 'e's leavin town!" one said, Red smiled, dropping his binoculars and went to the detonator, "Now Red, now!" he continued. He pushed down on the bar, and then all hell broke loss around the town of Theives Landing.
