She hesitated before gently taking down his bindings, her fingers soft and careful as she slipped it over his face, her brow furrowed in worry and her hood still over her head.
His eyes dilated in the darkness and he blinked quickly, looking around. It would be hard to tell in the lack of light, but his eyes looked to be a gray-ish brown.
She backed up from him, rejoining Tenzy, her hands folded neatly in front of her, still trying to keep her face hidden. "There. That's better," she said softly, watching him nervously. "Why... why are you deep under the palace?"
She seemed very nervous, looking down at Tenzy as if looking for answers. "I'm sorry, sir," she repeated. "But you're chained up underneath the palace... I'm not even supposed to be here. When was the last time you saw someone?"
He frowned, looking over at the lever. "A long time. I think.. I think I might have committed a crime. I can't remember. They hit my head."
She also looked over at the lever, rubbing her arm gently. "I don't know what that does... it looks like it might hurt you."
He looked up at her hopefully. "I know.. this might seem sketchy.. But I have no intentions of hurting anyone.. I just want to have a normal life again. We should try the lever."
She hesitated, backing away from him nervously before looking over her shoulder. "I don't know, sir. I'll... I'll go find someone and talk to them. Tell them you're down here..."
She hesitated, her face still hidden from him as she pulled her cloak tighter around herself. "What... what makes you say that?"
"Just because I dont know why I'm here doesn't mean I dont remember what they did," he said quietly, looking down.
Her frown deepened and she shifted her weight on her feet. "What did they do? How long have you been down here?"
Her figure was still, clearly deeply in conflict with herself before she sighed. “Okay. I... uh...I’ll let you out, but you have to come up with me to the surface while we meet with the Elders, alright? I’m going to help you, but I’d like us to do it lawfully.” She looked around anxiously. “No one should have to live down here, but...” She walked over to the lever, still deliberating with herself. “A vision’s just a vision and he doesn’t have purple eyes. This is a good deed. Don’t let fear stop you from a good deed.”
