"I'm going in," Blade said, "I'll take out one of the ships." He opened the shuttle door, luckily everyone had a helmet. He jumped out on to a small meteor, he then positioned it towards on elf the ships and launched himself, going faster than the transport ship. Blade went undetected and landed on one of the small ships, making a huge dent on it. His magnetic boots kept him on there as he began running towards an airlock, activating his Active Camouflage.
"Huh...OK, Sweetie...Uuuh...I dunno about getting you. I've had a few. Can you drive?" The woman said on the other line before going silent. Once Blade opens the airlock and walks inside, he finds it to be filled largely with livestock. This was carrying cows, standing around in the large space and otherwise docilely standing around. This would have been rather valuable to certain worlds, especially ones that had been steam-rolled to nothing. Otherwise, no one else was here. Just muck and the occasional mooing. The metal walkways overhead were vacant, the stairs on the other end of the sea of cows. There didn't seem to be any alarms yet. The woman came back onto the screen to talk to Guinevere, all of a sudden. "OK, we got the mag-guns on your ship. Can you hit the thrusters to bring yourself a little closer? Your just out of range." She said. "We got lots of birthday cake if you do!"
"Guns? I don't want to be near guns! I thought you were going to protect me!" she whines. "And the engine thingies doesn't have lights on... I'm just drifting towards you sort of..."
Blade walked through the cows, he even moved some out of the way with ease. He walked up the stairs, making his way to the walkway. There was door, it looked like one of the auto-sliding doors from one of the UNSC frigates, of course it didn't have the writing on it. He tried accessing it but it wouldn't budge, and all communications with Guinevere seems to be cut off, "Plan B." The door was half and half, they would meet in the middle when closing, and part from each other when opening. Blade forced his fingers into the crease of the door, and pushed outward, forcing the door to open. It was difficult but it got done. He continued down a metal hallway with his rifle at the ready, the comm's were still offline for him.
Stanford watched diligently at a distance before slowly approaching one of the outlying ships near Guinevere, hailing them on comms. As they answered him, his smiling face could by seen from the helmet of his suit on the screen. "Hello, I'm looking for a ship named The Sprite, and you're going to take to it." He said, entering there minds and forcing them to dock from his ship.
"No, no Sweetie! Mag-Guns are for hauling scrap. You know, magnet guns? They'll haul you in without having to touch a button. I guess, I can pull this ship out of tow a little bit...Oh! I'm getting another call. Hang on!" The woman vanishes from one screen and appears on Stanford's. "Hello, I'm looking for a ship named The Sprite, and you're going to take to it." The woman blinks, her head starting to feel sluggish. She raises her hand to her temple, hoping the dizziness will pass. "Uuuhh...I..what?" Blade continues to find no one there. This ship appears to be filled with cattle and that is entirely it. There's a few boxes of scrap electronic, beers and tools as well as a small poster somewhere. A brief read talks about a Birthday Party for a 'Tyro' on The Sprite at roughly about now till late. Booze, cake and music. It's likely that the crew of this ship is currently there.
Blade cautiously walked down the hall, and out of no where he gets a radio signal, it was from Guinevere. "Blade Runner to Guinevere, can anyone respond?" Blade asked, but the way he asked it didn't sound much like a question. He continued down the hall before stopping at a door. It looked like the ships control bridge.
Needle snuck up behind Blade and slammed her arm into the shoulder of his armor, aware it wouldn't hurt him. She then moved to be beside him, and looked back at some wandering cows, before turning back to Blade.
The hit the cactus gave Blade didn't affect the over shield at all. He turned to the cactus creature and looked back at the door. He walked up to it and did the same with the last door, jam it open. There he standing in front of the control room, "Perfect."
Stanford pulled up closer and docked his shuttle next the prey's ship. He stood up and waited by the exit, cambering his .45 and exiting onto the other ship. He continued to try a feed orders mentally to the crew. "Don't move." his voice commanded in their minds.
Blade walked around the empty control room, looking at the panels. He looked at the other ships, watching them stay in their position. He activated his comm again, "This is Blade Runner to Guinevere, do you copy?"
"I copy. Stuck floating here, bored out of my mind. Come get me." She says, transmitting her coordinates to Blade, frowning at how the others ruined her plan.
(Ahem...That's a little overpowered to control those you have no direct contact with. I'm altering that) The ships continued as normal, however, the woman on coms was remaining quiet and unmoving, her baffling wooziness either her drinking or something she surely ate. Blade and Needle need know that this ship was empty but equiped with mag-guns that could reel in striken craft.
Blade looked around, seeing weird guns hooked to the wall. He grabbed one and pressed the trigger. It flew from his hands and into a wall, "Magnetic weapons? Alright, thats a start." Blade unlatched the same one and grabbed another, if there was no one on the ship then its possible that him and his teammates could take this ship, after all it had live-stock. "This is Blade Runner to Guinevere, Needle and I have discovered a ship full of live-stock and are going to pull it towards your position." He said. "Needle, think you could wear an outer suit?"
(Ah yes, dearly sorry for that.) Stanford continued to move through the ship carefully, hoping to reach the bridge through his meandering. He silently confided himself for being lost and radioed to the others. "Hey, you guys wouldn't happen to have a map of the ships handy, right?"
Needle picked up one of the suits, and the needles on her arms tore through the material. She sighed, and walked over to the ship's console. She looked over it, before hitting 3 buttons, and pulling a lever. This caused the massive mags on the outside of the ship to begin pulling in Guinevere. She then looked over the screens, eventually tapping on one to bring Blade's attention to it. The screen showed a lay-out of the ship, with a blip on it showing where Stanford was.
Blades attention was caught as the cactus was tapping on what looked like a map. He heard Stanford's request, "This is Blade Runner, I have a map right here, looks like your near the bridge but not quite. I can give directions if you wish."
Guinevere waits for the ship to be pulled in, looking to see where on the convoy is the Sprite. She's been angered... and she wants to enjoy herself.
Stanford stopped and looked around before holstering his .45 and getting his carbine ready. "I would be pleased as punch if you would."
