forgiveness

its been a while since i last made a blog post on this site, so im just gonna rant about something i love doing: forgiving.
so i got into an arguement with one of my friends about whether or not Queen Chrysalis could be forgiven. Gilda as well. im just gonna state my opinion on the two. one: Gilda was just jealous, and jealousy makes you do some pretty stupid stuff. i can sorta understand why she did the things she did, though screaming at Fluttershy was crossing the line. i can honestly forgive her were she to publically apologize to Fluttershy.
as for Queen Chrysalis...can anyone actually blame her? i mean, she was just trying to feed her minions. isnt that kinda noble? to go through all that trouble just for her servants? she kinda reminds me of Celestia, how she would do anything for her subjects.
in the end i think i could forgive them.

    It's extremely hard to say whether or not I would forgive them, seeing as how I don't live in Equestria, and did not experience firsthand what transpired. But speaking hypothetically, I've never thought of Queen Chrysalis as much of a "villain." I didn't think she was necessarily evil, rather that she put the needs of her own people over the ponies of Equestria. Which I agree, is a noble thing. Of course, there may have been a way to negotiate some sort of agreement between Chrysalis and Celestia, but we can never know. I would find it hard to trust changelings in general. But yes, if I were in power, and Chrysalis came back to Canterlot seeking forgiveness, then yes, I would forgive her. I certainly didn't over think this at all...

    I could forgive Gilda. But Chrysalis? C'mon that laugh is nothing but evil. It rivals Ursula's from The Little Mermaid. Also, I don't think the way she went about it was the only way to do it. Rather than steal love, could she not try to find actual love instead? I mean, if bronies are any indication, there would be no shortage of suitors.
