She swallowed. Visions always made her feel a little nauseous, and she blinked a little before beginning to swim back towards the meeting spot, pale and breathless.
She was sitting on the ground as comfortably as she could in her tail, trying to stop her head from spinning. The light refracting in the water wasn't much help, and she had closed her eyes while she waited.
She nodded, swimming up to him. “I had a vision,” she said, taking his hand. “It’s been a while since I’ve had a vision during the day...”
She pinched the bridge of her nose with her free hand, feeling a migraine approaching. “A... cave. Nearby. The key was inside.”
"No, don't be silly," she chided, reaching up and rubbing his head. "It'll pass... this is more important."
He seemed unsure, holding onto her hand. "It's okay. Just wait here and I'll come back and let you know what I find."
She looked a little disturbed, looking up at him nervously. "You don't even know what we're looking for," she said gently, although she seemed to be blinking a lot. "Look at me. Do I look broken?"
