He would feel her pause in surprise, her hand tentative and gentle as she felt his heart beating. She didn’t pull away, though, and didn’t break the kiss. Instead, she seemed a little emboldened, gently moving her leg completely over his waist and perching lightly on his hips.
She didn’t pull away too far, her eyes wide and awake. She was breathless, that soft pink flush across the bridge of her nose. “I love you too,” she replied softly, his voice low.
She laughed, settling down. She was practically lying on him at this point, watching him thoughtfully. “You let me touch your chest,” she said gently. “You never want me anywhere near your chest.”
She visibly brightened, her ears perking up and her hand coming up to caress his cheek. “That’s new,” she mused before going down and kissing his collarbone again.
“Mmhm,” she said, finding the line along his sternum and following it, kissing him softly. “You don’t like me to touch your chest.”
“That’s true,” she allowed before pulling away, curious tracing that line on his chest towards his stomach. “You’ve been very forgiving.”
She looked up at him cheerfully, her fingers brushing the hem of his shirt. “I love you too,” she replied easily. “Can I move this?”
When she looked up at him, he would see that there wasn't any lust or desire behind her gaze. There was affection and sweet curiosity, and she tilted her head. "Unexplored territory. I won't go near your chest."
