She laughed a little, looking up at him. "You're not the problem, here," she replied gently, standing on her toes to kiss his cheek. Her voice softened and she frowned, looking down at the ground. "I mean... you heard that goblin in Ozepan," she said lowly, her ears drooping uncertainly.
She laughed again, but it was soft and quiet as she folded her arms uncertainly. "He didn't lie about anything," she replied lowly. "Everything he said was true." She shrugged a little, looking away. "I forget it sometimes, like when you kiss me, or when you pull me close to you, but everything he said was true."
She shrugged slightly, folding her arms. "I am small," she admitted, her brows furrowing. "Elves are much smaller than most other species and we're not... you know. Curvy. I didn't use to think about it very often, but..." She paused, her ears falling back. "I guess it's hard for me not to think about it knowing what you've been exposed to," she said eventually. "I know you got the pick of the litter in terms of what appeals to you and what doesn't, and I just..." She shrugged again, looking away from him. "...well. I guess it's hard for me to realize that elves were probably not your pick. That's all." She frowned before shaking her head. "I'm sorry. This is so gross and vain and self-indulgent."
He tilted his head with a frown before he scooped her up in his arms and kissing her face. "I've told you you're my type. That means you're my type in every way."
She made a small noise in surprise, looking up at him with wide eyes as he spoke to her quietly, her hand curling on his chest gently. Her face softened and she frowned a little before reaching up and cupping his jaw gently, kissing his opposite cheek. "Oh, Gods," she whispered quietly. "I think I'm really, really in love with you."
She laughed too, her fingers running through his hair gently as she rested her forehead against his. "Thanks, Z."
She kissed his jaw quickly before nodding. "Alright, Z," she said easily before raising an eyebrow. "Impress me."
He grinned, almost immediately the wings spreading from his back. He shifted his stance before the took off, dashing into the sky.
She yelped in surprise, her ears folding back as they flew, her hands curling as if trying to hold onto something.
