She looked around apprehensively, resting her head in the curve of his neck as she tried to catch her breath, the thin air sneaking into her lungs. “It’s beautiful.”
He evened out and the flew over the ground below. Apparently flight was much faster than walking. Zerras relaxed as the wind blew through his hair. "It's nice, right?"
“Like heaven,” she agreed, closing her eyes and relishing the feeling for a moment. The wind was cold as they flew, but Zerras’ chest was warm and she sighed a little before leaning in and kissing his neck. “You’re my type.”
She looked up at him trustingly, resting her temple against his shoulder. "I love you too. How much faster is this than walking?"
She frowned a little before reaching up, kissing him gently. Her hand cupped his jaw, and she studied her partner, noticing the notch in his brow. She softly tapped the curled black horns on the top of his head, running her fingers through his auburn hair curiously. She considered his face next, watching his eyes thoughtfully. They were that beautiful violet, soft and sincere despite the sternness of his face. Her boy was regal, she thought, tracing the lines of his face before her finger landed on his bottom lip. He was a true prince.
He looked down at her curiously, his head tilted as the wind swept through his hair. He was holding onto her securely, his gaze warm. "What?"
He went quiet again, continuing on. The flew for awhile, making considerable distance. Eventually they landed and Zerras set her down. "Let's walk for a bit."
