She paused, looking down at him with one raised eyebrow. As he kissed her neck again, though, she closed her eyes and sighed involuntarily, her shoulders relaxing. “We’re not fighting about this again.”
He watched her softly, his head tilted slightly as he pulled her closer and shut his eyes, letting his shoulders relax as he held her. "Fine."
He opened an eye to look at her with a small smile, running a hand through her hair. "Of course you can. I've missed having you close."
She paused before winking at him playfully. “I’ve missed having you close too,” she replied, clearly trying to be playfully flirty.
He brightened, laughing warmly. "Oh? Is that so?" He wiggled his eyebrows at her. "Do you yearn for me?"
She laughed deeply, her nose crinkling with the action. "Ew. But yeah, I guess I yearn for you." She paused before an idea seemed to strike her. "I want you."
He squinted, turning slightly and shifting his head to look at her with a small blush on his cheeks. "Yeah?"
She was still laughing, but she seemed to quell under his gaze, her hand coming up to brush his jaw. "Yes. I want you, but you already knew that."
He smirked, his nose gently brushing her cheek as he leaned close, their legs tangled together. He slipped his arms around her. "I want you too."
She flushed deeply, muttering something under her breath as she considered him. "This isn't fair," she complained. "You're too attractive. I don't mean that as a compliment."
He rolled his eyes as he kissed the top of her head. He sat up slightly and stretched, looking down at her with a smile. "Oh, stop. You know that's not true."
She was stretched out next to him, her blonde hair strewn out across the lush, green grass. Her hands rested on her stomach, and she looked up at him, raising an eyebrow. "I don't know that. You're killing me," she lamented, covering her eyes with her hands.
He laughed, moving so he propped himself up with his hands, each on one side of her head. He leaned down to kiss her. "I don't mean to."
She sighed, her hands slipping around his waist as she kissed him back. "I know. You can't help it, you beautiful thing," she said regretfully, looking up at him. "What was that thing you told me? Father?"
He immediately leaned his head back away from her, closing his eyes as if trying to ignore what she said. "No. No. We're not bringing that back."
She started laughing deeply, her hand reaching up to pull him back down to her. "Well, what can I call you when I'm particularly attracted to you?"
He was watching her with an amused look, raising one of his eyebrows as he tilted his head slightly. There was a small grin on his lips. "You may call me Zerras."
"But that's your name," she complained with a laugh. "I need something for the moments when I'm like... overcome with lust for you. I always think you're beautiful, but I need something for the special moments."
"Why not Zerras?" he asked with a laugh, lying back down beside her and turning his head to look at her. "I just call you June."
