I think we can bring the Train to a stop at about this point, methinks. We've had our fun. I've been following One Piece in earnest since 2005. It just keeps getting weirder with each passing year. Not like that's necessarily bad, or anything.
I've been reading One Piece since I think Rouge Town... it was in my Shonen Jump but I didn't read it at first.
I end up avoiding those long running manga/anime because I always end up thinking, I just don't have the time to follow so much of it. One of the things I always liked about the stories in most anime is that it had a beginning, middle, and end. The story almost always completed. You got satisfaction at the end. So many US TV programs, the writers have to write not knowing if they're getting another season most of the time, and it shows.
I agree, it was fun while it lasted. (Which is ironic coming from me since I posted a song titled "Love Never Ends" a couples pages back. )
Among other things, moving to Kansas after previously having lived in Michigan made me realize just how much I enjoyed cooler weather. I like the winters here. Also, the house we lived in from '08 to '15 had this one room that was the hottest in summer and the coldest in winter. So of course I ended up choosing that for my bedroom, because I just had to have my room over the garage. ()^_^
I really wish there was snow, can't remember the last time I've witnessed it. Probably a year ago, but my mind is still kinda hazy.
