Alright, brase yourselves guys, this came in not too long ago First Look at Netflix's 'My Little Pony' Movie, Plus a New Series
Probably something that rhymes with corn. Anyway, I like the new character design, and I'm wondering if this is set in the same Equestria as FiM. If it is, I'm curious as to what the hell happened to turn it into a racist segregated dystopia.
Well, it is supposed to be in the same equestria, but several years later. Sunny is based as buck, imo. She's a total brony herself!
So Windigos will be back I hope. I'm good with that, they are good antagonists. Maybe it will be A long time ago... In an Equestria far, far away...
Which does beg the question: What the *squee!* happened? Did something happen with Twilight? Did some new evil cause this to happen? Did the Mane 6 passing on have something to do with the dissipation of harmony? Honestly the possible answers are exciting, as they are dark and kinda scary. I don't know where Hasbro is going with it, but I do think they have our attention now~
Personally, I don't want to set my hopes too high for what little we've seen so far. And since I think everything we've seen has been for the movie I can only assume that any show or series that follows will look a bit different. I suppose I'm reserving judgment until an actual trailer comes out rather than go off some stills and a little bit of animation that was shown in a white void.
Well guys, we're just a couple months away from the movie. As you know by now, the movie will be on Netflix by september if I recall it right. This makes me wonder, are we making a livestream or something to watch it together or something?
