I've been feeling this side of sick since Thursday afternoon. Something's been going around town as of late, since both my parents are sick to varying degrees (though Dad's recovering from his) and a fair number of people we know around town have come down with something as well.
Yeah. We might be slow posting nowadays, but we're still posting. At any rate... My dinner from a couple nights ago. >^_^< My parents celebrated their wedding anniversary earlier this week, so I thought that some Buddy's Pizza was on the table. Took a little bit to get here---it was cross-country---but the wait was worth it. (For the curious, Buddy's is Michigan's best pizza chain, bar none. And since I was raised in Michigan... yeah. )
Yes. I'll be honest the previews did not make it look like it was going to be good at all. But being the huge Transformers fan that I am I went to see it anyway. Saw it in 3D even. It was a great movie. The story telling was great it felt like a Transformers movie that was made to be fun but serious at the same time. The previews made it seem like it was going to be as bad the the Live Action movies, but I was presently surprised. None of the joke really went overboard, and the subtle ones were amazing. Apparently it was supposed to be out the 20th, but I saw it on the 19th. It wasn't a super crowded theater. The week before I saw the last showing of Despicable Me 4 and had the theater all to myself.
I think my wife and I are going to try to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice this weekend. Didn't get a chance when we went to the beach a couple weeks ago because we were both sick the whole time.

I don't need to look it up, I've heard about it. They made a big deal about it when they stopped airing it after a certain episode.
