I remember spending a fair amount of time on the radio as well as the chat room. Though even when the site was alive the chat wasn't always the most active. A lotta people stuck with just the forum
Never really watched much of that show. I was mainly into Sailor Moon, DBZ, and Pokemon around that time. I really didn't watch a lot of other anime until I was in my twenties.
I never watched it on Toonami, but I did see an unofficial dub on the Armed forces Network while I was in Korea. Before that while I was in High School, one of my classmates brought a raw Japanese version for us to watch in Chess Club.
Hoppers ended up being pretty good, I had no idea what it was about when I went to see it. Worth the %50 off Tuesday ticket price.
I want to try to see the Mario Movie next week on my days off. Hoppers doesn't seem like my cup of tea.
Never saw it, but I've always believed that sort of thinking was incredibly stupid. Never underestimate the skills of a good voice actor. Part of me hates the fact that I don't watch too many movies anymore. If something like that had been released in the 90's, I would've gone absolutely nuts over it.
I've been going during "off" hours so I don't know how it is when it's busy. But, everyone else that has been there, even people with kids, have been well behaved and quiet throughout the whole movie. Maybe I've been lucky but my recent experiences at the theater have been good.
