Gotta share what's going on in our D&D campaign. Basically, we lived in the modern world and walked through a portal into a fantasy realm. We still had our modern belongings going in so my Wood Elf rogue Hooters waitress Kandi Sweet picked out some armor and had to take one last selfie before her phone died.
Yep. The lore is that only humans and human-like races such as elves, halflings, dwarves, and gnomes live in the modern world. The fantasy world was created by someone in the real world and has a homebrew beast race along with humanoids. My wife came up with it and it's been really cool so far.
