Hard to believe I haven't posted anything in this thread in almost 9 years. Glad to add this one to my shelf though. I grew up going to Bowman Gray Stadium and watching some of the craziest racing you can imagine. My favorite series was the Stadium Stocks. Street cars with 4-cylinder engines and almost all of them were Ford Mustangs. However, there was a bright orange Volkswagen Beetle out there that you couldn't ignore! Charlie Curry was always the guy I pulled for because of that. He won 3 championships and hasn't raced there in a couple years but he'll always be the man in the Bug that everyone loved to see win. I do plan on giving one of these cars to him and I can't wait to finally meet him after all these years.
