I wonder how Her Majesty Fausticus and her minions are going to keep this up... I mean, MLP itself was originally designed for young girls, and she is fully aware of the high percentage of adult viewers... Are they going to keep it aimed partially at the younger audience, or are they going to slip in more adult (not the c-word) references that the older audience will enjoy but in turn means the younger audience are left clueless?
    Hmm.
In any case... Still zappin' dem apples over the news!

@Calvin: Faust isn't invloved with the show anymore hasn't been sense the first season ended, and she was only a supervisor for certian parts of season 2. Right now she's trying to get her Galaxy Girls project off the ground and working with her husband craig on his new show "Wonder Over Yonder"

But yes the show will most likely stay as it has the first two seasons, content appealing equally to children and adults.

Oh, I didn't realise she wasn't a full time pony wizard anymore. (always skips straight to next episode before credits roll lol) as long as they don't make it 100% prepubescent I'm happy.

HAHA yeah, you don't have to worry about that, I mean looking at the writers of the show you have M.A. Larson (Angry Beavers, Foster's, Gravity Falls) Merryweather Williams ( Adventure Time, Spongebob, Rugrats) Meghan Mcarthy (PPG, Fosters) and then Storyboard artists like Sibsy (Ed Edd N Eddy) Jayson Thiessen (Pucca, Samurai Jack) and more talented writers, directors, etc that have been in the animation game for a looong time, I assure you MLP's quality is in safe hands! As long as Hasbro lets them do what they want, were all good.

And also, even though he hasn't worked on the show since season one Dave Polsky (Feeling Pinkie Keen, Over A Barrel) also wrote for South Park.

So yeah MLP usually seems to hire pretty good writers & what not for the show. No need to worry, the show & the upcoming comic shall both be AWESOME!!!

@Calvin: Yep, and Issues #1-#4 are all part of a story arc featuring the Ponies traveling to Queen Chrysalis kingdom. Seems the Changelings are still causing trouble. then Issues #5-8 will be another story line, after that they plan to to some more light hearted stuff, oh and Fluttershy will eventually get a one-shot. But yeah IDW seems to have high hopes for the book, and with good reason, the first issue already has 90,100 copies pre-ordered. And odds are even past the first issue it could potentially maintain sales of around 20K for the first year, which is pretty good for an all ages comic. Be sure to support it by buying it monthly at your local comic shop or hastings, and if you don't have one of those near you theres various online comic book shops you can use to subscribe to it.
