Ok...so I see the message they were trying to get across, but they went about it in the completely wrong way. A storyline like this would require careful detail to the upmost to not send out the wrong image. However, if you think about it, what they learned was that if you let the bullying continue, things would be ok in the end. Sure Applejack taught them they should have gone to her after all of it, but it was quite a short segment, and I doubt kids will remember that part as well as the float crashing and the song. Having said that, the song was good but...it felt thrown in there. There was no need for it really, though it was a good song, especially with: And it may be a nitpick, but whilst it was good, it felt like filler, know what I mean? Last gripe, Babs Seed...deserved what she got. You should never go to bullying, even if you are traumatised yourself, and having been bullied throughout my entire existence in childhood, I can tell you, you don't want to bully or hurt others to make yourself feel better, you don't side with the bullies, peer pressure doesn't work that way. Instead, you feel sad, depressed, try and live your life with a sword hovering over your neck every time you go to where the bullies are. But you'd never join them and abandon family or people solidly offering you to be their friend like that. Ok, criticising over, I did like this episode. For once, I didn't find Applebloom annoying, and seeing her upset made me praise Celestia as I drank her tears. Aaaaaanyway, there were a lot of references too, like the A-team music, Dr Whooves wearing a pear suit (he hates pears), Scootaloo talking about the dark side lol, and most importantly: Rarity's parent's house where they and Sweetie Belle live. This confirms everything I've ever said about ponies and their parents. Sweetie Belle doesn't live with Rarity, she visits, and this is evident by Sweetie Belle's room in the house Rarity's dad was fishing in front of. I mean when have you ever seen Sweetie Belle's bed in the Boutique? If you take this evidence, I can safely argue that like Twilight and Rarity's parents, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Scootaloo, and Applejack's parents live elsewhere, just because we haven't seen them doesn't mean they don't exist. There were a lot of laughs too, especially from Scootaloo for me. I don't really like CMC episodes as a rule though, so this one I found ok, but not absolutely brilliant. I like seeing a variety of the mane six, because I find the fillies a bit boring, and their stories a bit clichéd and meaningless in the long run to the season finales. 6/10
I liked this episode. Though the opposite of what I expected happened. I though Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon was going to stand up to Babs before watching the episode, but it was Bads that stood up to Diamond Tiara. Babs is generally more likable than I thought.
first things first. fahgettaboudit and second things second. Tomorrows Bab Seeds. now that my jokes are done, I ike the episode it isn't my favorite but it was good. I didn't Babs at first then I kinda liked her. Then she pushed Diamond Tiara, that's -200 points.
@PoeticPony: I can understand your criticisms and can agree to an extent, but at the same time I disagree, theres just as many different types of bullies as there are people, while it may be rare, there are indeed instances where A Victim becomes a bully themselves *thus the whole never ending cycle of hatred & what not* The fact of the matter is, its, well its really hard to do bullying episodes for any type of show, let alone one thats only 20 something minutes long, and for what it was they did a decent job, they showed the affects bullying can have on people, given they just showed one of the more uncommon outcomes (I.E. The victim moving away from her bullies and becoming the bully in her new setting so she won't repeat the same trauma) but it worked none the less, in the end Babs learned that she doesn't have to be a Victim or a bully, that she can stand up for her friends & family, and that she can go to others for help, she doesn't have to bare the pain alone. Overall it was good for what it was, and it did a good job of introducing a new member of the Apple family I personally hope we see again come the Apple Family Reunion episode later this season. And honestly as someone who in school was both a bit of a bully in elementary school and severely bullied by others in Middle School I can relate to Babs character, neither side of the fence feels very good. But yeah overall Bullying will never go away, like war, violence, lust, etc any other negative part of human nature it will exist as long as we will, but it is important to make people aware of it, and all the different forms there of. I think this episode helped do that, It may not have been perfect, but, for me at least it made a more genuine, honest and heartfelt attempt to cover the subject matter then most of the Bullying PSA's & episodes in TV shows & toons do. And for that I gotta give it props. But again thats just my own personal opinion.
Having finally watched it, this was a pretty good episode. Each CMC had a highlight for me: Applebloom: "Seriously?" Sweetie Belle: That incredibly adorable milkshake face! x3 Scootaloo: Her drum solo! I really liked Babs, surprisingly. I thought the accent would get on my nerves, but she's too awesome.

I actually quite liked-loved the episode. Not my favourite CMC episode (that would have to be Ponyville Confidential X,3), but I still loved it. Mostly because of Babs Seed because I can easily relate to her. I was bullied in Elementary school, and I was a bit of a bully (like Silver Spoon, laughing at the others bad insults), now I'm neutral. I seriously wish the ending would happen more in real life, seriously. I told an adult about the bullying I received, and they made it worse by saying (right in front of them mind you) that it was as much my fault as it was theirs. And after which they proceeded to call me a "Screw Up/Accident". I hated grade 5. But I digress, Babs Seed is an awesome character who I can connect with, and I love the song. C,:

Hey, I found out that Babs Seed is Carrot Cake's daughter How you ask? Well, the voice actor for Babs Seed (Bryanna Drummond) is the real life daughter of the voice actor of Carrot Cake (Brian Drummond) I also think that Apple Bloom is onto us Spoiler: she's seen us!
@Winter Snow, Ahh yea beat me to the punch, but yep Babs Seed was indeed voiced by BRYANNA DRUMMOND, Daughter of Brian Drummond, AKA Carrot Cake, G3 Spike, Ryuk from Death Note , Benny from Black Lagoon , Vegeta from the Ocean DBZ Dbub, *insert countless Anime & Cartoon characters here* I hope she sticks at it like her dad, ecspecially if Babs becomes a re-occuring side character *which I hope she does, I mean she was made the 4th member of the CMC after all.*
I thought that this was another good episode. I quite liked the music as well. Mr Ingram has done a great job once again.
I liked this episode, really liked the song. It was funny to see Magnum (Rarity's dad) fishing with what looked like to be burned food next to him. And also the part at the end where Sweetie Belle was reading the the initiation speech or whatever and stated that Scootaloo wrote it made me think of her as a dictionary. :derpe:
