That song was eh. I liked it but it was also not that great. The episode was pretty good, but not the best. BUT I now <3 Babs Why? it's literally on the same page and like 4 posts apart.
Applejack song, FINALLY!!!, and it was awesome too. Overall it was good episode. Funny how AJ got herself all worked up, although, that reminds me on something I've seen before. AJ is the element of loyalty honesty. She was so loyally honest that she didn't forget to write to Princess Celestia. Babs Seed is back, Yay! Overall, episode would get 4/5 from me, but song boosted that rate up to 5/5.
Meh, just to flesh it out so that it's not just a video in a post, didn't realise someone could get offended by it. Also Octavia much?
So it seems only the background ponies remember about friendship letters. The worst partvof the episode was definitely the song.
We have discovered the reason why the apple families big. It's not lots of private mummy and daddy times, they pony nap people and convert them into there family. Octavian is just one example. Also anyone else notice the distinct lack of applejack/big mac/apple blooms parents this prooves of there demise.

Good episode I loved seeing Braeburn and Babs Seed again although I was dissapointed that Braeburn never said "AAAAPlELOOSA!!!", one single time in the entire episode plus I loved the Raise a Barn song, Daniel Ingram you musical genius you've done it again by giving us another great MLP sing. Plus I also loved that song Zoe sang in today's LPS episode does anybody knows what that song was called?
Yay, more Babs. I liked the episode, however I do not know how to grade it in comparison to the rest of this extremly awesome season.
OK Overall I'd give Apple Family Reunion a 7/10 and heres why Pros - Nice to finally see (almost) all of the apple family - Nice to see Babs again and hear she's doing better back in Manehatten *I mean new school potential members for her CMC Branch, sounds like things are looking up!* Also I think at this point its safe to say Babs will be a re-occuring character from now on for future Apple Family &/or CMC centric episodes - Granny Smith & her gang of old mares were pretty entertaining *Auntie Apple Sauce can't keep ahold of her teeth can she?* - Fiddle Sticks *That Octavia recolor* is now best Musical Background Pony *also pretty sure she's a Fiddler on the roof reference* Cons - Song felt tacky/cheesy compared to the rest of the songs in the series *I mean I realize good country songs are hard to do, specially short ones for kids shows, but still* - Applejack just can't hold an episode on her own, I love the gal to pieces, but she's boring, again it was her family the older mares & the fillies that made the episode - Sad Braeburn didn't get any speaking lines - What the heck was Cloudchaser doing there, she's a pegasus *Maybe she was somepony's +1 I dunno* - as mentioned continuity errors, and the whole "100 Moons" thing was made unclear i'm guessing they meant 100 full moons or full lunar cycles because just 100 days would mean 3 family reunions a year and that would be CRAZY! But yeah it was one of the weaker season 3 episodes but still good enough for what it was, i'll probably re-watch it a couple times just to get a good glimpse at all the family members, and because I love Babs. So yeah not perfect, but decent, heres hoping AJ is able to shine more in her & Spike's shared episode next weekend! *knock on wood* Speaking of which, Spike is Best Zippo Lighter! XD. EDIT: @Poetic: I read your post, and I agree, its soo hard not to ship Appleseed. Oh gawd i'm going to pony Hell, but I don't care. The hugging, the attempts to spend some private time together, the oh hey southerners marry their cousins in real life so why not stereotype...... its just too easy! STOP BEING SO EASY TO SHIP! *That goes for all you ponies in the show, stop being so shippable! Your making us fans hhhnnnggg at every turn for Luna's sake! XD*
