God, so do I. Although I haven't really enjoyed any of the Spike-centered episodes so far. But Dragon Quest was just bad!
Personally I enjoyed Dragon quest, but meh, to each their own. Considering the name of the episode, i'm guessing either Twilight or Rarity one overwork/abuse spike more then usual, or something like that. Poor Spike, always the ponies butt monkey.
Dragon Quest just didn't feel like an MLP episode to me, other than that, it wasn't bad. As for Spike episodes in general, can't say i care that much to be honest, but they might be good.

I'm so glad this episode finally came! I've been waiting for it because next week it's about Discord! Not really excited about this one, Secret of My Excess was OK, but ugh.. Dragon Quest, let's just say it's not one of my favorites.

So Timberwolves are basically just some sort of sentient lumber patch that takes the shape of a wolf, but easily falls apart.... wow sucks to be them. Also, 10 bits says Timberwolves were created by Discord back in the day. I mean its obvious with those green eyes they were created by some kind of dark magic.
No the Discord episode doesn't air till January 19th, Pony will be taking a 2 week break after this episode airs. *sorry for the DP*
Pretty good? ARE YOU LOCO IN THE COCO!? Honestly this is, for me anyway, THE WORST EPISODE OF THE SERIES! Spike was completely mis-represented, its like the retconned out all of the character development he previously had and just wrote him as if he was still the dumb, slow, klutzy dragon from the 2-part series premiere. Its insulting to his character, and quite frankly flat out disgusting. But looking at the duo that made this episode, Polsky & Merriweather, sadly i'm not surprised, and sadly I can't defend either writer anymore after this. I mean on there own there episodes are viewed as hit & miss as is, together there a lethal poison! Which is sad because again I have episodes from the series by both writers I enjoy, infact their earlier episodes this season, Too Many Pinkie Pies & Wonder bolts academy are both solid episodes. But this, this is atrocious! Its far below the standards I expect in MLP, and any decent watchable cartoon in general. For the first time Pony has disappointed me, and whats worse, threres a 2-week hiatus before another new episode, meaning we got our mid er 3/4th season finale ending on a fairly sour note. I will say this for the episode though, the Timberwolves were pretty cool, I like how they can fuse to form a giant one, also the part where Spike was scratching AJ's back was funny. Other then that though, weakest episode of the series, Spike deserved better, I pray the MLP:FIM team never lets Polsky or Merriweather anywhere near episodes centered around the little guy again!
You just laid out, word for word, my exact feelings on Rainbow Dash's character. She's becoming a completely egotistical, self-centered, bratty, insufferable jerk to anyone and everyone, far removed from the kind, loyal (if a bit overconfident) pegasus we saw in season 1. I fear flanderization is preparing to hit this show HARD.
So much hate. I didn't really like the episode much other than a few funny things thrown in, but damn....
I really liked how the giant timber wolf asked for a moment while it was choking, he was so polite. :3
I liked seeing the timberwolves again and I liked Pinkie Pie's fake moustache as well as Rarity trying to teach Applejack how to be a damsel in distress but the rest of the episode was meh.
