2012 is over 9 of the 13 episodes from Season 3 have aired, how would you rate them? Basically list your favorite to least favorite. Let the fun begin! Also feel free to explain reasons why if you wish. As for me I would say... 1. Sleepless In Ponyville 2. One Bad Apple 3. Wonderbolts Academy 4. Crystal Empire Pt 2 5. Apple Family Reunion 6. Too Many Pinkie Pies 7 Magic Duel 8. Crystal Empire Pt 1 9. Spike At Your Service Overall I have really enjoyed all of season 3 s (sans Spike at your service) But I gotta say the CMC eps have been my favorite so far, those lil gals have really been on their A-Game this season. And I personally love Babs Seed, And I like how we have seen Rainbow Dash's character grow in both Sleepless In Ponyville & Wonderbolts Academy. Trixie's return was fun, but rushed. The Crystal Empire 2-parter was pretty epic, but also felt kind of rushed. Pinkie Pie's clones were crazy and fun, but...a bit too annoying at times. The Apple Family reunion was nice, but I feel bad AJ's relatives stole her spotlight. And todays episode, Ponies first true dud....but hey we still have Discord to look forward to come January 19th. And then hopefully a BETTER Spike-centric ep on the 26th *Petsitting usually makes things fun in toons* and still 2 unknown eps, hope there good ones! Any who Season 3 is a bit bipolar its had one of the BEST episodes of the series "Sleepless In Ponyville" and one of the WORST! "Spike At your service" I look forward to seeing how the last 4 episodes left play out! LETS HOPE THERE ALL AWESOME!!! *Knock on wood*

I liked em all too much to place em! Except I'm gonna throw Spike at your Service down at the bottom. By far the worst; it makes Spike look like he has the mentality of a slave.
1.Magic duel, I like the grim atmosphere, and I love Twily! 2,Apple family reunion - Applejack is the best pony...awesome song, granny Smith stretching her face! 3.Spike at your service - yay moar Applejack! Awesome wolves 4.Crystal empire - yay Cadence Cadence Cadence! 5.Too many pinkie pies - Don't like Pinkie, but a lovely episode about friendship, shows Pinkie in a different light. Also, fingers! 6.Sleepless in Ponyville - Luna saves the episode. Being able to overlook dreams is so damn cool. 7.One bad apple - I am not buying the 'bully others to not be bullied'. She was treated wonderfully by CMC when she arrived. I dislike Babs Seed a lot, because she bullied Applebloom even when they were all alone. 8.Wonderbolt academy - don't like Rainbow dash and really hate episodes of any series that has to do with sports and competition. It has unusually good message but feels unfinished, I thought Lightning Dust was to be Spitfire's child, they have certain likeness.
The only reason I can imagine for that is all that stupid complaining about "pandering", we should not complain about the things we want to see actually happening, it is quite awesome. Heres my order. 1. Magic Duel (Alicorn amulet best villain. Creative way for Twilight to defeat Trixie) 2. Sleepless in Ponyville (Yay, Luna, headless horse and compassionate Dash.) 3. Wonderbolt Academy (Really good writing of Dash's character.) 4. One Bad Apple (Best CMC episode) 5. Too many Pinkie Pies (Well, Pinkie Pie) 6. Crystal Empire (Good, but not as good as Canterlot wedding, though I feel Sombra is an homage to Sauron, who also is more of an evil force than a actual character.) 7. Apple Family reunion (Return of Babs, yay, otherwise just passable, intresting info about the Apple family though.) 8. Spike at your service (My only gripe is Spike sucking at chores, still with this competition something has to be last.) I generally feel season 3 is the best season, My top four in this season may im fact be my top 4 over all. If this is the general quality I don't mind 13 episodes a season.
Until were as bad as Anime Fans, Gamers, or Sonic fans, saying such is quite an exaggeration. Yes theres more bad eggs as the fan base grows, but thats to be expected. I do agree that overall modern fan bases are their own worst enemies, but yeah, at least a fair amount of Bronies/Pegasis try to stay positive. But yeah internet in general would be much better of if modern fans of any fan base were 90% less whiny.

@DBZ: Lol thanks, but don't be too hard on him. Again I can understand where tempest is coming from, Modern fan bases *even broines at times* act horrible online. Anime fans try to justify every creepy fetish the medium decides to pimp, gamers argue over ever little thing, and Bronies are far to naive, all to eager to belive any negative rumor about the series that pops up. Its rather sad in all honesty. Online fanbases overall truly do need to learn to act with more tact, be more open to others views, and less naive when it comes to believing nasty rumors. I do however still personally belive that Bronies at least try to take the shows lessons to heart and act in a decent manner for the most part, but again we are all (sadly) only human and are prone to make mistakes and act childish, especially online. Again it would do the internet a lot of good in general if all fanbases would learn to act in a less senstational manner.
I'm gonna say fantastic writing, but the story if being driven too fast as of recent. But keeping in mind that this is a 13 episode appetizer for a main course of a season 4 with double the episodes of season 2, it's pretty flippin fantastic.
Where did you hear Season 4 woud be that long? Again that goes with the fans needed to not believe rumors so easily. And yeah the pacing for season 3 has felt abit rushed in most episodes, but the writers still do the best with what they have. Time restraints will forever be ponys biggest enemy no matter how few or many episodes a season has. If only they could have hour long episodes like Doctor Who XD.
I'm liking this season so far! I still don't think it compares to the first season, however, but I have a tendency to like originals over the later releases, with films, games, and in many other areas... Also, about the negativity against the fandom- most the time, I have little to no understanding of what you guys are actually talking about. xD I guess I must hang around different parts of the fandom than you guys, most the time... Edit; Unless the reason I don't know what you're talking about is because I am, in fact, part of the reason you dislike the fandom, In which case I apologize. XD
