Why has this episode refuted to debut on Youtube? I was planning on watching this at my grandparents' house, as they've got the only TV that airs The HUB, but I just had to get sick with pharyngitis. I've had to sit here all day, surfing Youtube, looking for this episode, but all I'm getting are troll "rick rolled" or "teaser" vids. Did any brony remember to record this episode? In other words, life sucks for me right now Edit: I referred to Winter's epic sig. You sire, are the Jesus to my Christ.
There's a youtube link at equestria daily. As for the episode, It was awesome! The thing that bugs me is that discords reforming goes too quickly. It would have been better if it was a two part episode, plus that would mean more discord It was just a bit different than what I expected, but it still was just as good. Plus, Fluttershy got an episode! Also, friendshipismagic. That was incredible.
My general opinion of the episode? It was good. I have no real problem with it. It was just a good, solid episode all around. 7/10
10/10 My favourite episode now and made me remember Discord is best pony. The plot was well done compared to what some might think, the fact they managed to convert Discord without him being different was amazing and impressive and overall I really enjoyed this episode.
For a second there I thought Discord would have to be turned back into stone. I'll give this episode a 10/10. I can't think of anything I disliked about this episode really. Waiting for the HD version to come out so I can watch it again.
This was a great funny episode multiple times throughout I LOLed but i'm still in shock that he actually became good.
I just saw the episode, and for the most part I liked it. That episode would have been better served if they had more time though, it seemed like he turned to good a bit too quickly, but unfortunately they only have so much time per ep. I also liked it how Fluttershy wasn't actually being as gullible as she pretended to be. However, it also wasn't quite as funny as I was expecting, but overall a good episode.
ok, this episode was great. Not sure if Fluttershy just sicked to her principles, or she knew what she was doing all the time. Discord was ... well.. Discord, which is awesome. I Hope Discord, even dough good now, will stay at least little bit chaotic and, well, reckless. That's what makes him fun. overall 5/5, top tier.
Well, he doesn't exactly turn into a goody-two-shoes, instead of being evil, he's much more neutral now. He even said that he 'promised to use his powers for good, mostly'. Not exactly a line you would expect from a goody two-shoes
Discord was great, that's about the only positive thing I can say for this episode. Why in the world would Celestia try and reform Discord just to use his power for good? That makes about as much sense as inviting King Sombre to Canterlot. I know it'll never happen, but I want Discord to betray the ponies and become a recurring antagonist.
Well, something tells me that Discord will appear again soon, why else would Celestia gamble to reform Discord to use his powers?
Not really. Sombra is a fully evil character, meant to be a symbol of complete corruption. Discord isn't evil. He's chaotic, for sure, and very morally ambiguous, but that doesn't make him evil in any sense. I can actually see Celestia wanting to take advantage of his power to manipulate his environment. The episode was OK. I liked the uncertainty about Fluttershy's intentions and her seeming to get through to a more empathic side of Discord, if only for a moment. A desire for companionship and communion probably exists to some degree in all advanced life-forms, even a chaos spirit. It didn't wow me, though. And I don't like the title. That meme really needs to die. Anybody catch what the perfectly delivered line was?

Me: *Shaking fist at the screen* DAMN RIGHT you insufferable, whiny and egotistical little brat! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Immense dislike for RD. She's beginning to irritate me, her character is just BLEH. I wouldn't like hanging around someone with her personality. Then again, I suppose she has her modest and vulnerable moments.... (Rarely)
