I love Dash, but not everyone need to feel the same way, okay? I have always assumed Equestrian Ponies age as humans do. With Dash being between 15 and 18 in human years. So, you posted something negative to get a reaction out of people, then you counter his statement by saying, "nuh-uh, I'm not taking this too seriously, you're the one taking this too seriously." I have to say you're not coming off as being very mature yourself with statements like that. And Tempest, the "and I think I know why" comment was really not necessary. You know something like that is bound to get under anyone's skin. Now, can we please get back to talking about the actual episode? If you want to discuss your favorite (or least favorite) characters, we have threads for both. This is not the place.
I didn't post it ''solely' for the reaction. My comment just happened to get one. Which, all in all, proves that the maturity levels of a few members to be lacking. I wouldn't have needed to defend any of my comments if there wasn't hostility towards it. But yes, this is off topic, which is why I just posted my thoughts on the episode in my previous post. It's all water under the bridge to me. Anyone that takes this too seriously should maybe, I dunno, Go outside or something. Get some air in the lungs and breathe a little something other than ponies.
This is actually getting pretty funny for many reasons. I probably shouldn't think that way, but it is what it is. Anyway, I like how Discord reacts to Fluttershy's stare. Fluttershy also had some amusing expressions in this episode.
I was actually debating posting that earlier lol So...did anyone notice any references besides the Beauty and the Beast one? That's prolly one of my favorite parts about the writing of MLP, they insert a huge amount of references in the show. (seriously, tvtropes has like ten pages worth of references listed)
I really like how Discord's wings seem unattached to his body when he taunts Fluttershy at the frozen lake. Was that intentional or not? Hard to tell when it's Discord.
I disagree, the title of the show is "FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC" it only makes sense they would take antagonists & turn them to allies. I expect Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon & Gilda to eventually reform as well. Other then that i'm sure we will see some 100% evil baddies again too though.
Yeah that makes since plus if Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon and Gilda actually become nice and apoligized for the way they picked on and made fun of the ponies then I might actually start to like them.
Great episode But dew to the time the program gets, Discords change in heart was rather quick :derpe:
I might be a bit late to the party, but this is exactly what I've been preaching for the past two seasons. Rainbow Dash has become a completely insufferable jerk. It's gotten so bad I'm not even sure I can classify her as a protagonist now. She has no good or redeeming qualities anymore; literally every single word that comes out of her mouth is insulting, mocking, and/or whining. Her character has been completely distorted from what it once was. She's basically a ponified Gilda now.
