Yeah, 13 episodes a season kinda sucked. I like a lot of the episodes, but the season was very short-lived. Season 2 went from September 2011 to late April 2012.
This is excellent news, I think the mane problem with season 3 is the writers were frantic to fit their ideas into 13 episodes, but now they have 26 episodes back, more wiggle room, so both the writers & the fans can relax! Also apparently Amy Keating Rodgers is coming back to Pony *she wrote some of the best season 1 eps IMO* glad to see her coming back to the show! So yeah as of now confirmed season 4 writers are.. Meghan McCarthy M.A.Larson Corey Ann Powell Amy Keating Rodgers Cindy Morrow Dave Polskey Charlotte Fullerton Natasha Levinger (New Comer) Not sure if MerriWeather is doing any season 4 eps, but i'm hazarding to guess she'll pop up at least once next season, although who knows they may give her a break as she did 3 season 3 eps. *Kind of like how Polskey took a break during season 2 and came back for S3* But yeah 26 episodes, keeping and expanding the staff and getting AKR back, Season 4 sounds like its off to a good start!!! *knock on wood*

I'm glad everyone's so excited! Its surely going to be an awesome season! I hope princesscadence is in it a lot more han she was !
26? I hope this means they're moving in a good direction again, Season 3 is all one big filler to just introduce alicorn Twilight and get bronies' petty wants out of the way in my opinion. Hopefully it'll be the same quality as Season 2!
My only issue with "Fan service" is that it does awful terrible things to fan bases. I mean, episodes that fulfill a fans wishlist don't bother me. Its the sense of entitlement that can run rampant after the fact that always concerns me. Attitudes are contagious... And entitlement gets around. But yeah. 26 Episodes? More is always welcomed!
