I hate to get predictions over seasons, but here's what i just had as a ''flashforward'': You've all seen the Euestria Girls trailer at least, heh? Well, Celestia has a freakin portal. Inter-dimensionnal journey awaits our Mane 6. They'll probably just teleport in various worlds (Pony in Human worlds fics were right), and it may turn out to be kind of depleasing to see Twilight and her friends befriending human kids or meeting friendly sea ponies in a parallel world. Sh*t might just get real, bros. Don't think i'm overthinking it!
I was worried about that for a second, but then I remembered that this portal concept seems to change an individual into the dominant creature of the world they step into. Pony turns into a human going into the "Equestria Girls" dimension, therefore a human should turn into a pony if they were to travel into Equstria's dimension through said portal.
It could if it wasn't already stated that the events of Equestria Girls will not be brought up again in Season 4.
It could still be exploited. The portal will still be kept inside the Cristal Empire's castle, and there's still another unvisited dimension according to theory i've been told in cegep (Equivalent of college). Aaaaand, 30 moons are only 885 days (approximately), I'm sure that there will be someting coming from that portal again in season 8 or 9.
According to my Pony Countdown App on my smartphone there are 09 days, 18 hours, 35 minutes and 30 minutes left until Season 4.
November 23 is the official release date on MLP wikia. Scenarist of the two first episodes is Meghan. And, good news, the first two episodes are said tp be aired the same date.

What happens in Equestria Girls stays in Equestria Girls. (...thank god...) Although it's too bad Sunset Shimmer likely got all reformed after EG. I actually like her more than Trixie, and would have loved to see her return as a villain of sorts.
