Season 4 has gotten off to a stunning start. While the ending of CastleMania was predictable, for me it felt worth it just to see Pinkie Pie smashing her head off the bell repeatedly as a means of ringing it. Probably one of my favourite Pinkie moments!
When this episode got leaked, I was in a bit of a pickle. I had 2 friends that go to my school who also are bronies and I asked if they were gonna watch it leaked. They said no so for the sake of not going insane I didn't watch because I love talking about the new episodes! Not watching it leaked was so annoying, I couldn't go on any pony site w/o spoilers. Finally episode day arrived and I rejoiced!
Maybe those were their ancestors and the reason they look the way they do now is because they evolved that way. Then again, Celestia and Luna are gods, so who knows? Maybe they decided they liked it better this way?
Just thought about something. RD and AJ should have done that contest without the bee suits. Doesn't seem as daring with them.
The way they animated that was quite crude though. I know they were trying to keep it hard to see they were wearing bee suits, but the way the bees are on their heads (and how you can see the outline of their manes, and no screen over their eyes) looks like the suits magically just appear when they fly off. I'm being picky, but yeah. Almost seems like a last minute change of "We shouldn't encourage kids to do stupid things. Put bee suits on them to be less dangerous" and just lucked out to be funny. I've had a few questions. Where is the tree of harmony relative to the old castle? Is it right under it? If so does that mean they built it there after they defeated Discord? Why did they keep the elements out of the tree if it was so close? For immediate access in an emergency? If the castle wasn't built after after Discord's defeat then why did it look like they went on a journey to find the elements? I guess they would have had to dig down under their castle I suppose.. and the magic there could have been why they chose the spot in the first place. I just wasn't really clear on these sort of things. My guess is that it is right that it was built after Discord's defeat. Also they mentioned the citizens of equestria then they went to Discord. I didn't think Equestria would have been established before his rule. Still were Celestia and Luna rulers before Discord? I always had the idea that they got the title by beating him. I don't know. On a sillier note why was the organ called the organ to the outside, and what is with the hall of hooves? - - Auto Merge - - I wouldn't say being covered in bees without a bee suite is too kid-unfriendly. Especially if no one got stung. I mean think of the things they got away with in may the best pet win. Some of those were more intense I'd say.
