Well, discuss what happened in the episode and if you like it or not. I have it a 6/10. Also dat applebloom and scootaloo duckface!
Sesaon 4 Episode 15 Twilight Time It's time again to look back on a brandnew episode this saturday. This time centered around the CMC and Twilight.
I enjoyed it, but it wasn't mind-blowing. It had a good lesson and Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon are up to their jerky antics again. It's good to see the CMC learning good skills, even if it didn't get them their cutie marks. I do feel bad for Spike these days, though. >_>
It was okay for a CMC episode, though not one I'm likely to watch again. It's nice to see Twilight actually get some recognition for her Princess-hood instead of struggling to hail a cab. Best moment was Scootaloo's poseing and confirms that this season IS duck-face season. I just kinda wish Twilight would of put her foot (Hoof) down with DT & SS for their attitude. Overall, 6.5 out of 10 Off Topic- Does anyone else find John Cena's cereal commercial hilarious. every time I see it, I just have a laughing fit for the next minute.
I actually really liked this one. One of my favorite CMC episodes now. The CMC learned a good lesson and Twilight is showing her maturity as a Princess very well. She did a masterful job of guiding all the little fillies and colts. She helped them learn the lesson for themselves without resorting to ham-fisted tactics, nor was anything shoved as us. The subtlety of how Twilight directed the children into the right direction and her ability to remain calm and collected during all of the confusion surrounding her was quite good! This episode was very well written to me.
I really do like this episode. It had a great lesson, a good story, some recognition for princess twilight, the return of pip in a speaking role, and a cmc episode. It also had lots of good background stuff. Lots of sexy new background ponies, a look at where diamond tiara lives, the depressed pony in the hayburger, and the diagram of the chest. Sweetie belle had an amazing magic color scootaloo confirms my head canon by proving shes interested in building to some degree. Applebloom wanted to learn potions, which is just awesome. I love that twilight was so eager to actually teach the foals and share her knowledge with her "subjects." Her role in this episode is just great. I feel bad for spike though, but he has been working on his broom spinning. I also noticed the pack of a song... Which made me very dissapoint. I have loved just about every cmc song, so having no song was shocking. . All in all I'd give it a 9/10 for being a great episode but not having a song.
I love Twilight this season. In every episode, she's consistently shown how much she's grown over the first 3 seasons, and truly has a leader-like air about her without even trying. When her friends have been going through troubles, she's been the one to notice it when no one else did, and she usually approaches said friends about it. But that the same time, she doesn't force her help on them unnecessarily. She recognizes that sometimes it's better for friends to figure it out themselves, like with Pinkie when she was down about Cheese Sandwich. She knew Pinkie wasn't really alright, but didn't push the subject.
9/10 For a CMC episode, not bad at all. Also, i think Luna may be getting a bit jelly at Twilight now. She stole Luna's one true fan. Btw, does anyone else think that the Hayburger's interior looked an awful lot like the Krusty Krab? 100% Agreed. She's come a long way from... well, this:
Actually, it was better than I thought. Nothing over the top about it but once in a while, I like getting an episode without a lot of mindless meme-worthy fluff. I'm not big on CMC episodes but I'll give it a 7.5/10. Also, Sparky is a sloppy eater!!!
I liked every moment of the episode from Sweetie Belle performing magic for the first time to Applebloom killing a plant, all in all it was a good episode.
This is the first episode I've been able to commment on, so this is new for me. I quite enjoyed it, as I like the CMC, like most of us do. It was nice to see so many new fillies - im going to have to go back and pick out the new characters, and the ones we dont get to see often. I was honestly suprised with how well Twi took having all those kids suddenly dropped on her, in her own house no less. Can't say I would handle it just as well.
As a side note, I did find myself hoping for the CMC to set the record straight about those favors the others did for them. They never asked for them, and the pressure to accept them came from Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon the whole time. I just thought that was an important thing about the situation for Twilight to know. They felt really uncomfortable about the favors the entire time. Well well, welcome to EP and congrats on your first episode comment and stuff. And I agree. Twilight gets mad respect for that.
Well, that was a cute episode. Nothing spectacular, but still really enjoyable. Twilight pigging out on those hayburgers was funny, as was Scootaloo suddenly posing for the cameras.
Such a cute little episode, nothing major going on, but it's nice to have those now and then. Though they appear to be really hit or miss with most, I really like the Crusader episodes. Few of the highlights for me were, the coughing flower, Scootaloo's squee and her hamming for the cameras, Sweetie Belle using magic and as always her adorable voice squeak. Can't forget about Randolph and his moves, the zombie ponies, or of course Twilight's table manners either though. I hadn't really thought of Twilight being a celebrity till now, it's not something that's come up much. Suppose after living in Ponyville so long she's still just Twilight to most, but it's good they gave her a little paparazzi moment. I'm also all for character development, and Twi has certainly had it, dealing with her friends and situations much more maturely, but gota admit, I miss the old neurotic spazz Twilight. Maturity, bahhh, who needs it, Imma go hang with Pinkie.
I giggled at the Hay Burger scene. It was a reminder that at the beginning of the series (and, to a large degree, still at the present) she's basically a young university student. I wonder if she managed to ever lose her "freshman fifteen" if she keeps eating like that. No wonder she pants and looks like she struggles when she flies. The bit that got me the most: Twilight wiping ketchup from her last hay burger off her face using another hay burger! The episode itself was a pretty good addressing of the way Twilight is seen now. To most of Ponyville, she's still Twilight, because inside, and in her role in town, she hasn't changed. But to the fillies and colts who notice such things (especially, dare I say, superficial ponies like Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon), it's a big deal.
