Dammit! Why are you posting this early?! I saw what the thread was about and thought that the episode had been leaked. Also, we now know what you get when you cross a pony with a parasprite.
Spoiler: In case you haven't seen it yet! I only liked the one Breezy, Seabreeze, for he's the only one that made sense. Also, I hate when people don't listen when you tell them things that seem like common sense to you. Also, The Doctor and Rose. And he was wearing the red/blue 3D glasses! That was pure awesome. Twilight has transformation magic from a spellbook in the Everfree Forest Castle... Hmmmm... And Fluttershy got her key, so 4 down and 2 to go?
How in the hell are breezies not extinct? They can't seem to survive without a ton of assistance from other creatures (like ponies). I find it odd how Fluttershy's key was learning when not to be kind, but instead firm. I don't really have much to say about this one other than that. I sadly missed the Doctor Who reference, and will have to go back and look for it. Overall, this episode, despite introducing a new kind of sentient creature, really didn't leave a big impression on me. I wasn't a fan of the way Seabreeze treated the other breezies, but he was also the only one that had any sort of sense. The other breezies got on my nerves even more. @_@
Yet another great episode from season 4! It's nice that they're making episodes focusing on Fluttershy, about time she had some. As for the Breezies, GREAT improvement from G3's. Surprised they have Irish/Scottish/Swedish/German accents, and that Seabreeze is a guy, but still much better than the horrors of last gen's. Also, Fluttershy finally gets her "key." I thought she would this episode! Now if only they could do something on the sea ponies...
I did not like this one.The breezies were annoying to me.The fact that Twi just happened to know a spell to turn them in to breezies felt off.Flutters being a dumbtard and making the breezies stay almost too long. And it all being spikes fault. The only part of this episode i liked was the end cause Rainbow Dash. Come to think of it,I must not like Fluttercry that much, cause I never liked any of her episodes.
It was an alright episode. Decently entertaining. The breezies' pseudo-language/accent was bloody annoying though, and they kinda creeped me out... But other than that, I was fairly into it. Also, "I love new ideas that make me feel funny at first!" Am I the only one who took this in several directions??
I might have just been because of the Breezies or because they were originally in G3 but for one reason or another I did not like this episode at all.
Well, for the record, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, Cheerilee, Rarity, and Ponyville are all from G3.
This episode was a little too cutesy for my taste but still not bad I got a kick out of Flut's 'yay'. Also, what was up with the Doc's 3D glasses? And Seabreeze is a dude? I am liking the fact that some background characters are getting screen time and lines. Overall, I give it a 5.5/10.
It was an okay episode. Not great, but worth a second watch sometime in the future. Also, as much as I love that they're putting Doctor Whooves with Roseluck in an obvious nod to Doctor Who, I still prefer Derpy as his ponyverse companion.
So, Twilight and Applejack still need to get their keys. I think Applejack will get hers in "Leap of Faith", though.
There's just one thing that really 'stood out' for me in this episode. Just another reference to the actual Doctor Who.
Yeah, it was an okay episode. Not particularly exiting, but nothing wrong with it either. Except I'm getting tired of Pinkie's constant screaming. I can't remember her being this loud all the time in the previous seasons. Or maybe I'm still a bit oversensitive after the Filly Vanilli episode. Oh well, at least she didn't have many scenes this time. The breezies themselves... were okay, too, I guess. Rarity's scene was funny, as was Rainbow Dash's at the end. Twilight just so knowing the spell for turning ponies into breezies and the reason for doing so both felt a bit contrived, but that's a minor nitpick.
It's already been pointed out a couple of times in this thread, but in case anybody missed the Doctor Who reference:
Well I like Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, Cheerilee, Rarity and Ponyville in Friendship is Magic but I don't like the Breezies.
Herp-a-burp-a-derp. Ew... Apart from Rarity's dress and Twilight's "WHAT", I found it awful. As soon as a Breezie spoke, I was taking the mick out of their accents throughout the episode. What the hell is up with Seabreeze's Pink/Blue colours and why was the morale of the episode saying you should be forceful towards others when problems arise. Maybe it would make more sense if I watched the previous generations but It just didn't click. Terribly drawn out scenes and the Mane 6 transformation was icky to say the least. Ugh. Herp-a-derp. Overall 0 out of Ten... (Probably in my bottom five of G4)
