I blasted out laughing at the G3 face Pinkie made. The Pinkie clones were funny when they reaked habit on Ponyville. If I was a cartoon pony in Ponyville, I might would have hated them though. I also don't think the clones were killed, just sent back home. I do hope for a future Pinkie clones cameo if the series progresses.
Here's a plot hole for you: in this episode, they can't tell who the real Pinkie is until the last minute. But in "A Canterlot Wedding", the Mane Six have no trouble figuring out who's the real deal and who's a Changeling. Even Twilight, who mistrusted "Cadence" throughout the whole episode, is able to figure out that the one trapped in the minesis the real Cadence as soon as she does the secret hoofshake. Miund someone explain to me? Cause that seems like a huge contunity error to me...
All of the pinkie pies was the "real one" (in othe words, they shared the same personality and had most of the knowledge that the original pinkie had) while they changelings just looked like the main six(in other words, they didn't act like the main six).
Clearly we didn't watch the same episode. The clones just jumped atound yelling "FUN!" and being hyper. Pinkie Pie has layers, she's a lot more than just that. Furthermore, this was happening when Pinkie Pie was suffering an identity crisis and was soul-crushingly depressed, which: a-Makes it even easier to spot the real Pinkie. b-Makes it even more obvious that the clones ARE NOT PINKIE.
