Another year and a new round of FiM. So far the teasers has shown new ponies, new locations and cutie mark magic.
I pop in and out, but I can always count on a good time here. And I am so dang excited, my brother is over at my dorm this weekend and we are so ready!!! This will be the first season opener I will see with him - - Auto Merge - - and I am lovin' your avatar!!!!
Trying to avoid as much spoilers as possible for this season. All I know that there is a map and Communism.
Have been avoiding anything to do with S5, so much so I didn't know it was starting up till the other day :derpe:so hyped!
Less than two hours to go!
Playing the waiting game is easier when you have an AMAZING theme to listen to on constant repeat. Anyway... Someone post a link to the episode when it shows up on YouTube. Please? *runs away really fast from the Ace Attorney lawyers* :derpe:
WOOHOO PONY IS BACK!!! Anyway... I enjoyed this episode. While it was quite as action-packed as I was hoping for, it did a great job of setting up the premise for the season. I'll be interested to see if the real magical artifacts of that Eastern Unicorn (whose name I forget) come into play this season.
My opinion on the episode Spoiler: Spoiler I'm really impressed with the season 5 openers. I liked the focus on the other ponies other than the Mane 6 during the final chase, it felt pretty fresh in comparison to the other multiparts that usually end dues-ex-machina-Twilight-friendship. I also really liked the lead up to the climax, the episode felt pretty well paced to me. It felt less rushed than the other multiparts. Well, that is just my opinion.
PONIES!!!!! Anyhoo, Like Rid, I was thinking there would be more action but nevertheless, I LOVED IT!!! I also love the fact that the mane 6 are actually USING what they've learned over 4 seasons to help others. You know, I half expected Starlight Glimmer to pull a Sunset Shimmer in the end (a.k.a. the "I've seen the light" moment) but I'm glad it ended with her disappearing with no absolution. Makes a good plot hole to be filled in later! The ruling... 8.5/10!!! @Ridley Wolf- It was Meadowbrook. BTW... the episode was actually called The Cutie Map.
I loved this episode! Spoiler: SPOILER I feel like we have not seen the last of the episode's villain yet. And I like how Pinkie reverted to being like her family when she was equalized! XD
Spoiler: My opinion I liked how the villain wasn't evil, she just did what she thought was best. I also liked the song.
The episode was hilarious, it had a brand new villain and most importantly the show is back, all in all I really enjoyed it a lot.
