Personally I enjoyed it, tend to like all the CMC episodes though, find 'em cute. The whole dream within a dream, even though predictable, ended up being pretty cool .. and I'll admit, a little creepy at points. Maybe it's just me, but if felt like they were trying to draw the assumption that Starlight Glimmer was behind it, foreshadowing I suppose. Though I'm glad it wasn't one of the mane Crusaders to get their cutie mark, hope that's something they end up saving till the very end. But it's a shame Babs wasn't actually in the episode, was hoping she would be included at the end there. Lot's of little good bits, Luna of course, AJ with her own little song, her voice switch with Big Mac, but the high point though, Scootaloo flying! Don't care if it's a dream, it still counts. Speaking of creepy though, have to take a moment and mention how disturbing that Rainbow Dash balloon was ..... yeah.
Anyone else catch "Chicken Pie" crowing outside AB's window? Overall, while sort of predictable, I found the episode to be very enjoyable. I also thought about Starlight Glimmer when she was dreaming but doesn't seem like that would make sense seeing as AB never met SG. So I'm glad that it wasn't a tie-in. I know I usually have a hard time finding things I don't like about ANY episode and this one is no different. I would have a problem with the nightmare within a nightmare cliche if this wasn't a kids' show but I don't so I give it a solid 8/10.
I was rather indifferent to this episode. If anything, I saw it more on the meh side of the spectrum. The only part that made me rather sad was Scootaloo's "Oh, this is a dream!?" And flying about for a few moments because she can't anywhere else. That was so unnecessary. Dammit, Scoots. ;~;
The first time I thought it was real and then it just turned into a bunch of other nightmares and so on. I would give it a 7.5/10. This episode seems familiar to me. It's very similar to "Sleepless in Ponyville" and "Whom Sweetie Belle Toils".
Honestly for once I'm not sure what to think about a episode, while I do like that Babs Seed was mentioned and I always like a episode with Princess Luna in it I'm not sure what to think about the rest of the episode.
I was kinda eh on this one. It seemed like, well Luna visited the other two, so I guess we need her to visit Applebloom too. It'll be one of those episodes I don't watch again. *shrug*
I enjoyed the episode, but I was beyond pissed to see that the Vinyl/Octavia scene we saw in the S5 trailer was just a cameo in a dream sequence.
I have to admit, I really liked this episode and what it was about. I'd have to say that it's probably one of the few 'CMC' episodes that I really enjoyed watching. Right now, I'd say it's probably also my favorite 'CMC related' episode. It's not even because of Luna. Luna certainly helped it, and so did the Vinyl Scratch and Octavia appearances, but the content of the episode was really good and a really good "lesson" or whatever you want to call it. Yet another AMAZING episode.
Well, I thought it was okay, I guess. It had some neat ideas, but I found the execution to be rather clumsy. So, Apple Bloom has a nightmare. And then another one. And another one. And another one. And then Princess Luna swoops in and ask Apple Bloom if there was by any chance something she was worried about... Gee, princess, I wonder what gave you that idea? Overall, yeah, not a terrible episode, but definitely the weakest of the "Luna visits the CMC" trilogy in my opinion.
