A spark of an idea flew into her mind. "Perhaps I could change your image, or something, just for a quick moment."
"When I was younger, I was certain I was going to have a magic themed cutie mark. Either that, or a violin playing one. Anyway, because of my certainty, I was constantly reading about magic. I read a little about a spell that could alter appearance. I tried it a few times, and I got pretty good at it. It's difficult, but I could give it a try.."
She looked around, and then pulled him to the back of a building. "Okay, let me think," she said, as her horn glowed with the same robin egg blue as her eyes. She focused, closing her eyes, and the magic flew to Frozen, swirling around him gently. His mane darkened, and his coat changed to a reddish brown. His vision shifted slightly, but a blink took it away. The magic died away, and Rosy opened her eyes, looking tired. "There," she said softly. "You don't look anything like your handsome self. That was harder than I remembered."
Frozen looked at himself approvingly, "This is remarkable Rosy, thank you! Are you alright, you seem very tired.."
"I'm alright. Like I said, that spell was harder than I remembered. It's just a small headache. Nothing to worry about," she said, smiling at him. "But that spell won't last for long, so hurry."
(You're good! I was thinking different, because Frozen would be extremely old if I made his age up to date according to Granny, right? I mean, he looks about 20, and 70 years difference..)
(thanks, I can be kinda derpy sometimes! Lol) Frozen nodded and wasted no time rushing over to granny smith (did you wish to play her or should i?)
(No apology necessary my friend!) "Woah! Slow down there sonny!" The Elderly mare said, when Frozen approached swiftly, skittering to a halt in front of her. "Are you granny smith?" Frozen asked, "I've been looking all over for you, hoping I could meet you!" "Well, here I am!" She said with a laugh, "But where did ya hear about me? You wouldn't go lookin for an old made unless ya hadda good reason to! You after my secret pie recipe feller?" She asked, studying Frozen with great scrutiny. "Err..no ma'am, he said, " My grandfather is an old friend of yours, he has told me so many stories about you!" "Well now, who is her grandfather?" Asked granny smith, "I know a lotta fellers!" "Frozen Heart," he said. A twinkle appeared in Granny Smith's eyes, "Yes, I had a feeling," she said, "you have his eyes." It was the only part of him Rosy couldn't change.
Rosy watched from afar, her head pounding. She smiled as she slid down the side of the building, her piercing eyes enjoying the scene.
After some hugs and well-wishes, Frozen slipped away before his form changed. By the time he reached rosy, he was himself again. "Love?" He said, in concern, when he saw her.
He smiled at her, "Very good, thank you me dear.." He looked out to see the lines had thinned, "Still want to go to SugarCube Corner?"
"Sure." Rosy said cheerfully. They entered the building to see the pink mare from earlier frantically baking cakes.
