Anyone else build CCG Decks? I'm gonna just leave a couple of these here and I'll see what peeps think. First, The Troublemaker Deck (A.K.A 'Rainbow's Marvellous Menagerie). Pony Head Overview This deck is all about speed and roadblocks. While your dealing with a 10 power Dragon or having your hand nibbled by a pesky Parasprite, I'm rushing around stealing all y'all Bonus Points. Second, The Pinkie Crystal Deck (A.K.A 'Party of Many') Pony Head Overview A tri-colour deck that focuses mainly on face-off advantages, especially in it's three Mane Six Crystal cards that could manage to not only exclude a card from the face off, but cause instant Inspired effects and let me choose which card I flip for a face off. And that's the best case scenario. What do we think? These are only two but these are the only one's I've Pony Headed. How about you? What are you using?
I had no idea about Pony Head looks like a really helpful website :3 my main deck atm uses the Derpy hooves starting card and focuses on mailbox resources and frightening opponents cards with spitfires badge, thunder clap, rainbow dash goosebump giver and other cards also. Would you like me to post up every card in the deck ? - - Auto Merge - - http://www.ponyhead.com/deckbuilder...176x2-pr161x1-cn173x1-cg183x2-cg178x1-pr166x1 here is the Derpy deck
Too my knowledge, the Harmony Ruleset for the game banned Magical Mailbox but that's only if you plan to go into tournements with it. Otherwise, my reaction would be: "Frighten and Yellow Power?! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" A few choice cards and that would be hideously powerful in the right hands. I like how you've thrown in some very powerful troublemakers to ensure you have somewhere to shoot from when playing. Parasprite Swarms are deadly in the right hands. But, those above aren't my current decks. Not all of my decks have been Ponyheaded and are up to date. The only one that is, is: Rarity Troublemaker Deck V1 Good to see you here though. Oh! And Vulpine Script would love to talk about this.
I bought the Luna/RD them deck about a month ago :3 and... that is the only one I have. Is hard to find them and they usually sell them at some anime expos, which are every 2 months in where I live.
Hey! The Standard Luna/Rainbow Dash deck has it's advantages. Personally, I'd use it as a jumping off point for either a pure speed deck where you rush as much power as possible to a problem or build a deck that will burn Events in order to give Princess Luna stupid amounts of power. Or maybe something else. The nice thing about the decks is that they give a good feel for what colours can do, rather than other games where they tend to limit themselves to only one tactic per structure deck. Magic being the big one but Weiβ Schwarz seems to do this too. Both are fine but I kinda like the Pony style more. If your interested in pursuing the game more, you could try online. If your in the UK, I know Mareplay do decent prices. Otherwise, there's plenty of places to order not only more decks but boosters and individual cards but I'd save picking up single cards for when you completely know what your doing.
Well, I hadn't had experience playing, and altoguh I already read the manual, I'm still not completely sure how to play it. I'm also no from the UK, I'm from Mexico, that's why is a bit hard finding the cards since in here mlp is not that popular and my father wouldn't let me buy the cards online.
Is there a banned list of cards for MLP CCG ? Where can I find the list ? also is there a limit to draw deck size or is it like magic the gathering were deck size is flexible
THat's a shame. Also, I've been playing for almost a year now and even I don't know how to play it completely properly. It's very complicated. The minimum is 45. But there's no upper bound. And the list is on Enterplay's facebook. Hang on... Clicky-clicky
Only 4 cards are banned, as said in the link: Globe Trotter, Sight Seer Rainbowshine, Cloud Wrangler Fluttershy, Guidance Counselor Magical Mailbox And yes! I'd love to talk more about this! For some good advice to begin with I'd recommennd checking out this tumblr blog as it has some extremely useful advice about both basic and advanced play!
Hi guys I'm having trouble with ruleings in MLP CCG. How does chaining card effects work do Event cards happen before friend abilities ?
How do you understand key words in MLP CCG ? The Berry punch card is confusing because it says at the start of the faceoff. In a game i had started a faceoff with my opponent ( my turn) i then play Hasty retreat and target the berry punch; my opponent then try to activate her ability before letting Hasty retreat resolve. So what is suppose to happen ? sorry its just the rules are hard to grasp sometimes because of all the key words and timing rules. thanks =)
