- I met my fiance on MLPforums. Hate that place, but thankful I met him/we live together now.
- My original favorite pony was AJ and until I saw Spitfire, stayed AJ.
- Once I started liking Spitfire, she's the reason I cut my hair short and dyed it copper. I love it because I think I look a lot like her now.
- My mom died when I was eight, second day of 3rd grade.
- I did gymnastics and professional dance.
- I'm a pretty big tomboy, and I think people around me are just now finding out.
- I'm 20 - 4ft10 - haven't grown since eighth grade.
- I recently started drawing in January, I wasn't great but improved super quick.

1. I'm not very interesting.
2. I did an apprenticeship at a piercing shop once. I didn't get any experience applicable to the real world but I still have most of the practice piercings I did to myself.
3. I'm a decent cook & a pretty good baker.
4. I play multiple instruments & know how to read music.
5. is the number of cats I have.
6. I primarily collect G1 pony toys.
7. I've read every book in both the original & the extended Dune series, multiple times, because that's my sci-fi jams.
8. I used to do commissioned art & art for sale. I don't art at all anymore, for reasons. The first painting I sold was something I did in grade school.
9. I'm really not that interesting.
10. I can't think of anything else.

Looks like I haven't ever posted in here. Huh.

- My favorite band is Death Cab For Cutie.
- I couldn't read very well at all until around the age of seven, which was later than all my peers. They made fun of me then, but the next year I picked up The Lord of the Rings, read it cover to cover, and years later Creative Writing is my specialty and my passion.
- Following that thought, I have loved The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars ever since I was introduced to them.
- I have a love of operatic power metal music that will never die. Same for Classic Rock.
- I self-identify as a Feminist for the reason that I believe in gender equality, and don't have any problem with the fact that it's called "Feminism." After all, women are a part of "mankind", so I don't really need the word "Feminism" to have any linguistic allusions to maleness in it to support it as a concept.
- The same goes for gay rights. I'm not gay exactly (some strange combination of non-binary or bisexual, if you want to know) but a fight against homophobia is a fight for the betterment of all of humanity.
- Long story short: I had a few rough periods of my life where I thought I would be better off dead. I have since sought counseling and joined advocacy groups for suicide and mental illness.
- I have been in abusive relationships, but for the longest time I didn't know.
- I am a dedicated Magic: The Gathering player. My favorite color is Blue but I tend to prefer Midrange and Tempo style decks, which means I also dabble in all the other colors. My favorite character from the series is Sorin Markov.
- My favorite video games are the Elder Scrolls and Halo series.
- I am currently in the process of attempting to become a published author. I primarily write a hybrid of science fiction and fantasy.
- My favorite actress is Cate Blanchett and my favorite actor is Christopher Lee. Runners up include Natalie Dormer and Aiden Gillen.
- I have so many amazing friends who make the best of the good and the hard situations in life. I really prefer to be friends with people I admire.
- I am related, not distantly, to the Irish family, Finnegan.
- I'm a vegetarian but I don't demand that other people be vegetarians. It's just a personal preference.

-I probably daydream more than I should, it actually takes up a good chunk of my time, when I'm not needing a lot of brain power to focus on one individual thing.... That's probably one reason why my stories are so far-fetched... :\

YOU SUCK, YOU LOSER!

 

When I was told something of that kind at a very young age (eight, almost exactly one year after I was struggling with reading, since I had practiced on my own so much) and I used to think it was impressive. Then I eventually got to my Sophomore year in high school and realized that most of my peers' reading skills weren't particularly impressive, and so the average Sophomore's reading level didn't really mean anything to me. It's like that old saying about how if you judge a fish based on its ability to climb a tree, it will live its entire life believing it is stupid. By virtue of being human, it's not the most meaningful thing to measure yourself against the average of other people in almost any situation.

 

I see what you're getting at but a sophomore reading level is (by educational standards) at least supposed to be, better than, say, a 3rd or 4th grader but then again, they are far apart. Also I knew that thing wasn't a rare thing, I assumed that probably lots of people may have noticed that about themselves.

 

Yeah, I guess I just sort of figure it as... like, a relativistic thing? You know what I mean? And people are so diverse, even from age group to age group, that you might be a better reader than even some college students and the classification of "Sophomore level" is sort of arbitrary, I guess.

 

Me too! I like to call it Narcissistic Self-loathing. Or bloody annoying. Depending on my mood.

Hmm, better come up with some other stuff so I'm not just piggybacking here:
- I have crashed a car, a motorcycle, and a boat, but unfortunately not all at the same time.
- I am physically unable to blow my nose, just can't do it.
