Maybe he doesn't realize that some people need an occasional escape from his beloved "real word." Not everyone gets to live the charmed life that he's clearly living.
I never said people don't need the occasional escape from life's pressures, but why spend that escape on a dead forum of a practically lifeless fanbase run by admins who lost their passion for it a long time ago? As for why i'm still here, i do believe this place hasn't felt so alive since the last time i was here to stir things up again.
People just like hanging out here, man. Just because it doesn't appeal to you doesn't mean it's wrong for other people to have fun here. I see that you get a kick out of popping back in to bother anybody who still remembers you, but... are you really proud of that? I mean, sure the site goes through periods of inactivity, but things have actually been pretty active here recently, and here you come, wriggling out of the woodwork to proudly display a sense of superiority to anyone who's having a good time on this site. You're an obnoxious drop falling into an uncaring bucket. I'm kind of surprised you haven't been banned by now. Your posts are almost exclusively inflammatory and insulting.
The fandom is far from dead. You just have to watch the pageview counter climb over on EqD to see that. As for the forum being dead, you may have a point. The site has slowed down since I joined. I've seen the admins make a number of changes in an attempt to fix that. I'm not exactly sure what you want from this fandom. Bronies will never be mainstream, and this site will never be the top Brony site. As far as I'm concerned, that's not a bad thing. Because this is a small forum, the members can actually get to know each other, and even become friends. Real conversations can happen because posts don't get buried under mountains of other posts. Of course this site could be better, and we should always strive for perfection. It could also be a lot worse.
Wait, I'm confused; how could you know how alive the place was before you came back? Unless of course you've been lurking in this pathetic dead place that you're too good for.
For breakfast today: Eggs, and bans. Well, my breakfast, I wake up late. Served up by the elusive fox.
That's because Batman has a rule against killing. Kind of like how this forum has rules against flaming.
A note turned sour would be poetic, were it not so malevolent and seeking to ruin the rest of the symphony.
