Eight Star Gender: Male Race: Unicorn Age: Some number after 1000. Appearance: Crimson coat with a red mane that has a black stripe through it. Cutie Mark: The Mark of Vir'Zixl Occupation: Grand Master of the Order of Golden Lightning. Small Background: Eight Star was a later bloomer for his cutie mark. He was already into a youthful adulthood, and far beyond frustrated with the fact that he was STILL a blank flank. Still during the rule of Discord, and the rebellion against the Draconiquis, Eight Star took great risks in dangerous times to try and earn his mark. Finally, his risks paid off. During a conflict between Discord and those rebelling against him, Eight Star harnessed pure magic in an attempt to strike at the more powerful enemy. When deflected against him, however, something underneath him was awakened. Energy surged up around him, and he began hearing a strange voice in his head, a voice not of Equestria. After passing out, he woke up some time later in the new landmark - the Ever-Free Forest, created by the powers of chaos. Much to his pleasure, he also found his flank not blank. After those events, he began to follow the voices, which belonged to a sentient crystal deep underground. It kept him in seclusion for around 600 years as it trained him to be its mortal vassel. Bestowing him with immortality, and the powers of chaos, the crystal began to task him with missions which were, as it told Eight Star, for the better of balance and magic in Equestria. The Order of Golden Lightning: A very secret organization created by Eight Star in order to assist him in fulfilling the wishes of the Chaos Crystal. As only one pony, he cannot handle everything all on his own, (no matter how powerful he considders himself.) The order consists of many agents, many of whom have not met each other. Many of them act as spies, doing normal things, and merely reporting goings on to Eight Star himself. The recruitment methods for the order are fairly random, but Eight Star generally targets outcasts and those who don't run well with normal society. He's also very uncomfortable around other colts, so there's a 3:1 filly to colt ratio on the roster. Celestia and Luna deny the existance of the Order, even with as many times as they have met Eight Star in person. ----- Pickpear Gender: Female Race: Unicorn Age: Full grown mare, but small for a mare. Appearance: Pear green coat with a chestnut brown mane and tail. Her mane is cut short to try and make her horn appear larger. Cutie Mark: An Oaken Crosier with a Bow Occupation: Deticated Agent Small Background: Pickpear was born a runt. Her body and her horn were both smaller than average. Though it was her horn that was most made fun of. She shied away from large groups and activities with others for a long time. She was such a doormat that even her parents walked all over her, making her do literally everything around the house when at home. Her cutie mark came from her skill as a shephard, possibly the only thing that really kept her at ease. However, her parents saw no leading qualities in her, and forbade her from leading the sheep anymore, keeping her tied down with other mundane tasks. She finally ran away from home, escaping with nothing but her saddlebags and a destination; Ponyville, where she had heard everyone was so nice. Along the way, she ran into Eight Star. After a little convincing, she gave up her quest to Ponyville and went to the Ever-Free with him, where he built up her self-confidence. She has, since then, developed strong feelings for her master, and treasures anything she gets from him. She's very deticated to her new skills in picking locks and pockets, but she's always told "success and failure are not the important things, I just want you to try your best. I believe in you."
Pink Fizz, Violet Ray, Marshmallow Cream, and Mystic Heart are all basically for-the-RP made characters. If I listed all of THOSE my list would be pages long! :derpe:

Personality Xizil is incredibly shy, often only found in giant piles of leaves that he has carefully hidden himself within. His shy attitude with the living comes from their pension to try and burn him, slay him, or end his undead existence. He realizes that many see him as an abomination, but this was not a life he chose, so he tries to keep his distance and stay quiet. If he finds a friend, he will become clingy, friendly, and almost dog-like in his will to please them. Likes/Dislikes He hates the fact that his zombie brain tries to have him eat the flesh of the living. He hates that he's always hungry. He likes forest wildlife. He likes friends and people who are willing to talk to him. Background/History About a decade years back, Xizil was bitten during a zombie outbreak, and died scratching at the wounds he received. When he woke up, he heard whispers and voices coming from the darkness all around him. His vision was skewed, and everything was confusing. When the first beings ran from him in terror, he didn't hesitate... he ran the other way as well. During his retreat, he lost his own mind to the control of the disease, and when he woke up, he found a dead deer in his jaws, half devoured. Overcome with sorrow, he pulled most of his teeth from his mouth. The only ones he left in were his front four, but only to defend himself. With most of his teeth gone, he knew he wouldn't be able to chew or fully masticate anything again. With his teeth pulled, he retreated into the dark for a long time... It took him many winters of laying around before he could control the whispers to a small degree. It was the mana energy of death trying to take control of him, and command him. While he didn't have to sleep, he would sometimes lose consciousness, and awaken either in the exact same spot, or find that he's been doing things without knowing. Many times did he try to claw himself out of the darkness, but whenever he woke up, he would replace the gravel that was dug away with more. It was many more winters before he finally got out. He woke up to a youthful voice in the forest, calling out to him as if he were just another animal. In the darkness, all the child could see were his eyes... and he slowly approached. She ran off in tears, just as he expected, but he could no longer find his way back to the cavern he sealed himself inside of. Now wandering, Xizil does what he can where he can to help preserve life in the forest. Communicating with the animals his own warning of what can come over him. He has made a few living friends here and there... those who are more curious about him than others. Some have tried to resurrect his body... but it has too long been dead, and the only thing keeping him going is the regeneration of the dark magic.
