"It was quickly shut down, but civilians began to believe that alicorns were turning against each other, making it the perfect time to strike," Celestia said, somberly.
"It was regrettable," she said, her eyes unfocused, "but it was bound to happen, I suppose. Ponies are afraid of the unfamiliar." She refocused, and her ruby eyes lay lightly on him. "I daresay you could understand that."
"I thought so," she said, ignoring the flutter in her ribs. "Besides, there were very few calamities in the attack; something to be grateful for, I suppose."
"Yes. Yes it is.." he said softly. "You have suffered so much pain for your people," he said, "I feel honored that you would bear your heart to me like this, it must be difficult bear these burdens alone. Your sister, the moon lady, helps I am certain, but there is only so much she can do. Thank you for allowing me to alleviate some of your stress, it is no equal repayment for your mercy."
She gave a small, wry smile. "Do not worry, Mr. Heart; there is plenty more stress to share. You will repay me easily."
Frozen gave a confused look, unsure as to what she meant. In his concentration on her, he had forgotten to maintain his disguise and had shifted into his Windigo form. He was relatively the same size, but his fur and mane were cyan in color and his mane blew about as though there was a breeze.
She ignored the confused look; he would understand in due time. She looked at him in fascination as he turned into his windigo form. "Interesting," she said, "Your form relies heavily on mental concentration."
Frozen flushed a deep blue, "You do not find it appauling?" he asked in embarassment at the realization he had changed..
"Of course not," Celestia said, flapping her wings, "You don't find these and my horn appalling, do you?"
"Thank you," she said, "but what I mean is that it is simply a part of your species. There is no reason to find it unappealing."
Celestia flushed, and shook her head, but it was more in embarrassment. Her horn glowed, and she opened the door to the library. Bookshelves rose to the ceiling, with comfortable, regal armchairs.
Celestia flushed lightly."Thank you, Mr. Heart," she said. Her horn glowed, and the books flowed off the shelves. They surrounded them in a bubble, and a magic aura flowed over Frozen. Information ran through his head, as they scanned multiple books in their minds.
After a few houts, however, Frozen's heart sank as he realized that there was no information about the subject at all. He sighed deeply, and sank into one of the chairs in defeat.
