Frozen was, again, thankful for the distraction and rushed over, "What do you think caused it to do that?"
"I don't know," she said sadly, her horn glowing as a robin egg blue aura surrounded the small bird. "I think it's a swallow," she said, summoning a cardboard box, and gently placing the bird in it. "I think when a bird is in shock, you just.. give it a dark space to recover."
Rosy summoned a pencil, and poked a few holes in the box, then placed a thin blanket over the temporary hospital.
"Yes, sorry," she said, "about the wedding. I don't care about a date, quite honestly. It doesn't matter."
Rosy froze, her eyes looking at the ground. "She tried to...." she said, her voice a little higher than usual.
Her eyes were focused on something that wasn't there, and she opened her mouth to speak. But then, she closed it, shook her head, her lips pressed tightly together. She turned, and left the room without a word, and her hoofsteps echoed down the hall.
"Please leave me alone right now, Frozen," she said, not turning to look at him. Her soft voice trembled as she spoke, and she went down the stairs quickly.
Rosy was at the bottom of the stairs, and she stopped and looked up at him, revealing piercing blue eyes welling up with tears. "I know." And with that, she turned, and exited the castle through a small door.
Frozen collapsed into a shaking mess and began to sob openly. He shook gently and quivered as he did so. Everything he had was falling apart..
Rosy went into the garden, trembling violently. Her heart was beating quickly, and she forced herself to breath. Celestia walked through the hallway, until she stumbled upon Frozen. She stood silently behind him, before clearing her throat.
Frozen gasped, and turned hoping it was Rosy. When he saw it was Celestia, however, he grimaced, "What do you want?" He snapped.
Celestka raised a hoof in defense. "Wow! What's with the hostility?" Celestia asked, her eyes scanning his face.
